Rene Furterer Finishing Hair Spray is the most fabulous hair spray I've ever used. This spray is unique in that although it holds incredibly well, it has the ability to leave the hair soft and natural, with no stiffness or heavy feeling.

I was introduced to this product at an upscale salon in Shadyside. When the manufacturer developed problems with the spray mechanism, my salon quit stocking the product. I was devastated. (With no comparable substitute, I put a great deal of effort into getting a few more squirts out of my defective cans --- standing them on end, packing them for flights so that the lack of pressure in the luggage compartment might add some pressure. My endeavors were successful and I could typically get one more spray.) I wasn't about to give up on something that worked so well for me, soover the next several months, I continued to search for a comparable product. Eventually, I found Rene Furterer advertised on the Dermstore site. I ordered and have had great results. Apparently the problem with the can has been resolved. I am elated ... thank you Dermstore.

The product is a little pricey, but well worth the investment and the EFFORT.

I have been using Rene Furterer for a few years now. Their hair spray is light and "fluffy." It is not sticky and usually lasts most of the day!

I received this product on Dec. 20, 2007. Yesterday, the it started clogging up on me, less than a month after the purchase. I put alchol on the spray part, and now I get a good spray, then a half spray etc. Today the sprayer would not even push down. After playing with it, it finally worked. The product itself is ok, nothing special. But it is to much work getting the product out of the can to buy it again.
