Reviews of Glytone Flesh Tinted Acne Lotion

I must not understand what this product is. Is it supposed to be a concealer? Is it an acne treatment lotion?

From the other reviews, it seems people are either wearing this under their makeup or as their makeup. This seems impossible to me. It reminds me of calamine lotion, except it's sort of flesh-toned. It definitely doesn't resemble makeup at all.

I don't know how anyone would wear this at night without their pillow turning tan, and I don't know how anyone would wear this in the daytime without looking splotchy and like they got attacked by mosquitoes and had to dab on calamine lotion.

It does a wonderful job of drying up my oily face and preventing breakouts. I have a very light complexion and a lot of tinted lotions are too dark. This blended well.

A little goes a long way. I love this product and the great coverage that it gives.

This product is liquid based in a light coverup color. It is amazing! I have used Clearasil, Oxy, as well as others over many years and they do not compare to this product. I have oily skin. I apply this lotion under my powder makeup and my face never gets oily (or dry). For the first time in 30+ years my face does not break out. In addition, the color is perfect. It is light enough to completely cover up all the blemishes and discolorations from scars. It is amazing. My 20 year old daughter experienced exactly the same; her face is blemish free for the first time in her teenage/adult life. I buy in quanitites because I am afraid the product may be discontinued one day.

I love this product because it cleared up deep pimples that nothing else I have used could.

I am 25 and have been battling acne, off and on,since middle school.The first presciption that ever worked for me yrs ago was sulfacet, which had a sulfur base. I tried this glytone acne lotion because it too has sulfur in it and it really seems to be working for spot treatment at night. I was very discouraged that anything was going to work for me at this point, but it has been 3 weeks since I began using the glytone acne lotion in conjunction with the Cosmedix clarity serum, and so far no new breakouts. The reviews on this were very good also, as with the Cosmedix serum, which is what I love about Dermstore; being able to see what others are using and their opinions, on every single product. I will definitely purchase these 2 again.

I used to use Acnotex, which has not been available for 10 years. This product takes over where my old tried and true one left off. I've tried other covers, but this one actually helps with the acne, too. Love it.

I have been using this product for years and now my daughters use it. With Glytone Lotion I do not have to worry about using a lot of other foundation makeup because of the flesh tint that this lotion already has in it.

The Glytone Flesh Tinted Acne Lotion is ok, but it dries out my skin. In the summer now, my skin is a bit tan and the tint is very light - it makes me look very pale.

Doesn't smell very good. Seems to help with blemish treatment. Flesh tone is perfect for me (strawberry blonde hair, fair to light skin with no freckles). Can be a bit drying so watch for that.

This product really works well on acne. If you put on too much it will dry your skin up, so you just need a dot. Its an overall good product!

Cons: Says it's a tinted lotion that can be worn during the day but I disagree. A) the lotion is kind of thick so it doesn't blend well with cover up / make-up. B) the lotion comes in 1 tone so it's very noticable for darker toned people

As a woman in my thirties newly fighting breakouts that I didn't even experience as a teen, I love this stuff! I have looked excessively for a product that both fights current blemishes as well as conceals them, and this is the perfect trick! Other products I've tried either don't really conceal OR don't seem to actually help the blemish. This does both in a superior way.
