I have tried bare minerals and jane iredale and this is my favorite. The powder is very light but still provides good coverage. I personally love the applicator design, I think the brush is high quality and the whole thing is very convienent.

Good foundation, good coverage, easy to carry in purse.
It takes a little while to get the powder to transfer out to the brush. It has a bit of shine to it that I'm not too crazy about. Review posted 7/7/2008.
I love it! It's very good on my oily skin and doesn't accentuate my large pores like other mineral foundations,especially when I use a sponge to lightly press it in. I live in Houston, a very humid city, and it's great for here.

the foundation is great. blends extremely well with my skin--rather amazing. while the brush on the blush I ordered is good, the brush on the foundation's brush was hard, and scrapes up my face. won't be getting anything more.

this is good to cover redness, or uneven skin tone. Good coverage, doesn't even look like you have put anything on.

I really like the fact that the packaging is small and that there's absolutely no mess. However, I do feel the brush is a bit hard/tough and it does hurt my face a little, maybe i'm doing it too hard or I'll just have to get used to it. Overall, I think it's a great solution for mineral makeup. I'm always looking for things that will reduce my makeup bag bulge and make my life simpler, and this is IT!

I recently switched from Bare Escentuals to Colorescience on a recommendation from a friend. I absolutely love this product. The design of containing the powder in the handle of the brush is genius. It makes it very easy to travel with and it eliminates the mess associated with loose powders. The coverage is great and the color blends easily.

After years of trying different mineral foundations, I finally stumbled across the Colorescience line. Better late than never!
What I like: 1) finally, a color that matches my skin perfectly! 2) less messy and space-consuming than jars of mineral makeup 3) looks very natural and gives my skin a healthy 3-D (instead of laid on) glow 4) doesn't make my skin itch like some other brands have What I don't really like: 1) doesn't cover blemishes as well as my previous brand, though it could be because I don't have the best method figured out yet 2) can't think of anything else! Goes on so smooth, and looks great. I'm 54 yrs. young, and never been able to wear ANY mineral makeup due to large pores. I purchased Line Tamer along with Colorscience mineral foundation and it looks awesome. Never settles in the lines or pores on my face. I wear Lauder Stay Put foundation and it was beginning to make me look much older. For the first time I actually feel I look younger in the Colorscience. Easy to take when traveling.
More expensive than I would normally pay for a foundation but it last a long time, so it balanced out. Review posted 7/29/2007.
