Reviews of Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser For Intolerant Skin

This product has done a very good job on helping to keep my red skin not looking so red. Now it just looks like i have a natural blush. I don't even use make up to cover it up anymore. I also like that I can smooth some on at bedtime and just gently wipe it off with a wet cosmetic cotton pad. I don't have to splash water on my face and have it get all over the counter and then clean it, just put on and wipe it off.

I didn't realize it was a wipe-off product, and I don't feel like my skin is clean.

I have rosacea, and I have tried almost everything out there for my sensitive,intolerant skin. This is the only product that doesn't burning and irritation. It leaves my face clean but without stripping it of moisture or inflaming it. It really calms my skin and restores the moisture barrier. I don't know what I would do without it.

Removes all makeup, including mascara, in a snap. My skin is sensitive and dry and this product leaves it feeling hydrated. The only recommendation I would make is to use a gentle toner on a cotton ball to remove it when you take off your makeup to get rid of the makeup residue. I use rosewater purchased at my local Middle Eastern grocery store.

Finally I found a face cleaner that doesn't irritate my skin. The description states you don't need any water, but

I use water to rinse off, it works just as well. I will continue to buy this face cleaner.

Avene Gentle Cleanser for Intolerant Skin is a great cleanser for people with sensitive or dry skin. After using the cleanser my face didn't feel dry like with other cleansers. It leaves my face feeling hydrated and smooth.

This cleanser is like no other cleanser I have tried before. When I first tried it, it made my skin look and feel so clean, fresh, and even. I really love the fact that this cleanser is free from preservatives, dyes, colorants, fragrances, oils, etc. This works perfectly for my skin. However, it did not last me for more than one month and also it is expensive. Great cleanser but I don't know if I can purchase it again due to the price and the fact that it doesn't last longer than one month. I used it as directed twice per day every day. I LOVE it though.

This cleanser does and excellent job of removing any traces of makeup and dirt. It also doesn't leave a sticky residue like most creamey wipeoff cleansers. It also takes off waterproof mascara. Very nice product.

The cleanser is very gentle. It can be wiped off as instructed, but the result is much better if a little water is used for a final rinse -- it leaves no residue. It effectively cleans sweat, and even sun screens. I have extremely sensitive skin that reacts to make up and sunblocks, including titanium and zinc oxide sunblocks formulated for sensitive skin. I wear sun block as necessary, but the sun block is removed with this cleanser as soon as possible to prevent further irritation. I highly recommend this product to people with very sensitive skin.
