Reviews of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

I usually use it for cleaning the remaining cleasing oil on the face. It is so gentle that it cannot clean suncream completely. It is a nice product when you don't need deep cleaning.

As someone who rarely uses skin cleanser, mostly because I have never found any that I can use frequently, I find this one really gentle, and great for frequent use. Compliments the rest of the range of products, which I recently purchased.

I like it a lot. It's very gentle and clean. I'm kind of addicted to it. Very cheap price, suitable for students.

Smooth consistency, does not lather. Does not dry out or irritate sensitive skin. My derm recommended it and I love it. Great for the winter- sometimes good to switch to the oily skin version for the summer for a lather/deeper clean feel.

Cleanses well enough, although I did not quite like the texture as a cleanser. No heady unbearable scent, which is good.

It is indeed very gentle, I like it a lot. Although it does not foam up, it's pretty easy to rinse off and does not give me a slippery coating after washing my face, the face feels very soft. Even though in general I don't have breakout or other prolems, I am a very picky person when it comes to skin care product. I have always been using expensive brand name cleansers and looking for good combination of texture,smell and after-feeling(and believe me, I've tried a lot), this very economical face wash turns out to be a very nice surprise. I was actually afraid that it was going to smell very chemically since it's non fragrance formular. Well, it doesn't smell bad at all, in fact, it does not have any smell.

And just FYI, I have fairly normal skin, a little bit of oil on the nose in summer, a little bit dry on the cheek in winter. I don't wear makeup. This face wash combined with warm water is all I need to clean my face at night. It is now among my favorite cleansers, along with Lancome's self-foaming pump and L'Occitane's Olive (God, just love the clean smell).

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser cleans okay. Not good for heavy makeup or watherproof sunscreen, but otherwise it's excellent for general cleansing.

This is a great, gentle skin cleanser. I have rosacea and it's the only product I've found that doesn't make my rosacea worse.
