Reviews of Credentials Glycolic Cleanser

I've been using this product for years and despite straying on occasion, I've always come back to Credentials Glycolic Cleanser. It's light, oil free and leaves my skin as soft as a baby's bum, with no redness or irritation. My pores are invisible and that's not ever happened with any other cleanser. My granddaughter is always touching my cheeks and insists that she has never felt such soft skin. I'm sure that isn't a reflection of her own beautiful 12 year old skin, but it's a compliment that I will take even if she was comparing my skin to someone of my own age; she's right, my skin is incredibly soft for it's age. I wouldn't use anything else as a cleanser; Credentials Glycolic Cleanser is the best of the best. Try it, you'll never leave!

I have been using this product for years. It was recommended to me by my esthetician. It controls ruddiness.

Seriously, all I can say about this product is "Wow." I've been a cynic for many years about products for acne, but this cleanser lives up to its promises. It's an excellent cleanser, melting makeup and oil away, but it's really much more than just a cleanser -- it softens my skin and, over time, has evened out my skin tones and reduced the redness of old acne scars. My skin really has a healthy glow now.

The first week I used this product I did have some mild skin irritation, as if I was allergic to the glycolic acid. So I only used it at night, and the redness was gone in the morning. After a week, though, my skin got used to it, and now I'm able to use it morning and evening with no problem. If you experience something similar, stick with it and see if your skin doesn't adjust as mine did, because it would be a shame to toss such a great cleanser in the trash after only one or two uses.

This product has seemed to work well. I used this product in combination with my generic salicylic acid 2% facewash. I use it once a day in the morning after I've washed my face with the salicylic acid. It lasts a long time, I've had it for a couple of months and it is still not done. The only con is that it makes my hands extremely dry and rough and scaly, but it's worth it to have clear-ish skin :-)

A little goes a long way. Works just as well as face wash that my dermatologist prescribed. Does not dry out my skin, especially with the change of season and that has been a recent challenge as I age.

I have very sensitive skin and break out from a lot of facial cleansers. This product is a little drying on the skin but overall one of the best!!

I LOVE this cleanser! I have tried many different brands available at major retailers, and will never go back. I have combination skin, and this product is not overly drying when used with a good moisturizer. I find that it keeps my acne prone skin under control much better than other products I have tried before. If I do get a breakout, I notice that it heals much more quickly since I started using this cleanser.

I've been using the Credentials Glycolic Cleanser and the Glycolic face cream for about 2 weeks now. My skin has returned to normal after drying out and feeling a bit like lizard skin, so that's good. However, the cleanser and cream haven't stopped my breakouts, my pores are still larger than I wish they were and I'm wondering if this will actually help my skin look better because so far it still looks awful. I'm 34 and haven't had great skin my entire life, but for the past few months it's become REALLY bad on my jaw line and just below. It's still REALLY bad even though I've been using the Credentials products every morning and night.

I love that this cleanser thoroughly cleans your faces, even into your pores. I have fairly oily skin, so this is perfect for me. This product is not for people with dry skin. Also, be sure to wear moisturizer with sunscreen if you are using this product.

A great cleanser that works better than any other similar product I have tried. Must keep away from eyes as it can over dry the delicate skin in that area (not any different than other glycolic products). Keeps my acne prone skin clear without over drying.

This product cleans very well and helps lighten age spots. It is not harsh and leaves your face refreshed.

I have cystic acne and I'm in my 30's... it's not only physically painful but emotionally too. The only alternative my dermatologist gave me was severe medication and I'm not willing to risk kidney or liver damage to spite my face.

I found this Glycolic Cleanser and it has dramatically improved my cysts and healing time. Also, the bottle lasts a long time.

My only complaint is that it dries my sensitive skin so I use it about every other day unless I feel a cyst coming on then I use it twice daily and only leave it on the skin for 1 min. or so.

At first I was really happy with this face wash. I had fewer breakouts, but after using 2x a day for a few weeks my skin got super dry. Before this I used Glytone mild gel wash 2x a day and was happy with that but wanted to go stronger. I won't be buying this again. I have combination skin with a few monthly breakouts on my chin. This product was just too strong :(

I have been using this cleanser for the past three weeks. So far I am VERY satisfied with it as it is very gentle for my sensitive, acne prone skin yet effective.
