Reviews of Glycolix Elite Sunscreen SPF 30

I've tried many sunscreens and this is by far the best because it is light, not greasy, and glides on quite smoothly, almost like a moisturizer. The only drawback is that due to the packaging I cannot tell when I'm low on the product and therefore, cannot anticipate my next order.

The white color which dissipates into the skin actually evens out my skintones for under makeup.

I've been using this product for a couple months now. I live in Utah where the sun can be quite brutal on the skin. This product has protected my face without causing breakouts like most other sunscreens have.

It does go on with a white film but you just need to massage it in well & wait a bit before applying make up.

I've been using this sunscreen for 3 years. It's very effective, and it's the only sunscreen I've tried that doesn't cause breakouts.

The zinc in this product may be micronized, but it still goes on too heavy and takes awhile to absorb. I don't wear make-up and will use this for hiking, but not for everyday wear because it is too white. Perhaps next time a tint can be added?

This product has great ingredients and one of the strongest zinc oxide protections available but the texture is just too thick/white/unspreadable for daily use. If I didn't use a serum (and sometimes a moisturizer) under my sunscreen than this product would probably work. I think it is a great high quality value product for the money... if you don't use other products as well. And so many people said it was light consistency.. I disagree, unfortunately!

I love:

- very high quantity of zinc, which blocks UVA and hopefully will prevent some wrinkles in my later years

- a very non-toxic sunscreen (hard to find!) according to Skin Deep cosmetic database

- I get compliments sometimes (when I get the mix right, see below), like "hey, what have you got on your face, your skin looks nice!

I don't love:

it makes my skin white-ish. I do mix it with a bit of dark powder before applying but its hard to get the mix just right. Also I apply powder afterwards.

- when your face sweats the white zinc comes out and it looks really really funny (people have laughed at me on hot summers days or in the gym)

One of the highest zinc-oxide formulations that I've been able to find. It goes on a little thick but doesn't interfere with makeup and lasts. Its best for lighter skins since the zinc oxide might turn darker complexions pasty.

It causes no breakouts for me.

I have never used any suncreen as light on my face as Glycolix Elite Glycolix Elite .loved it so much I have told my friends about it.

I personally use a lot of sun screens and this is my favorite one out of whole. I feels just like a lotion and comfortable.

Will be purchasing again. Liked the high percentage of zinc and broad spectrum coverage.
