It's very light, hydrating lotion. Also it doesn't cause any problems nor oil.It's perfect for those suffering from redness and itchness skins.

For many years now, my face has been plagued by being severely dry and red. Even the softest cleansers would still irritate my skin to the point where I wouldn't go out and stay at home. I ordered this on a whim a within two days my skin looked amazing, super soft, and not red. I wish I would of found out about this product years ago!

Just a very small amount is needed and spreads very nicely all over the face. Within seconds no residue is noticed.

Thin, non-ointment type, one percent hydrocortizone lotion. Applies very easily. Is greaseless and will not clog pores. Has a very clean scent.

It seems everything that keeps my skin soft also makes it break out. Not this. It locks in moisture and helps diminish redness. The only downside is that it doesn't include suncscreen.

I was going through a very tough episode of rosacea when this product arrived in the mail, along with the Aquanil Lotion HC that I had also ordered. The day I started using these products, my face was red, stinging, and flaky. I also suffer from break-outs caused by the rosacea and the medication I use dries out my skin. I began using the products on a Friday evening and by Sunday, the flakiness was completely gone and the redness was almost completely gone. Best of all, my face did not sting AT ALL after applying the cleanser or the lotion. I continued using the cleanser and the lotion everyday for nearly two weeks so that the flakiness would not come back. Now, I use the cleanser twice a day and I use the lotion several times a week...especially when the day will be arid (as opposed to a normally humid day in Austin, Texas).

Aquanil is a thin, white/milky face lotion. My dermatologist prescribed it to help with constant peeling and flaking in my T-zone. Nearly every day I had tiny flakes of skin on my face that I had to scratch or tweeze off before applying foundation. My dermatologist said this condition was stress induced psoriasis. I have oily skin typically, which is why the dryness was so tricky for me to treat before. Aquanil has completely cured this. For 7 months I've been using Aquanil as a daily facial moisturizer and it has given me smooth, soft skin. Not a single flake, even after a summer at the beach. Aquanil has not caused me to breakout. It’s perfect and light for my oily skin, but it definitely got rid of all my dry patches. I use the product every morning and night and one bottle lasted me 7 months. So even though its more expensive than drug store moisturizers, it's totally worth it. A good buy.

I like the product because is has decreased the redness on my face. Aquanil HC has no odor and takes a little amount to get the job done.

I have spent a great deal of money going to the dermatologist and buying prescription medicines. None of them worked as well as this product. I thought it was expensive, but it goes on very thin, and you don't need to use a lot of the product for it to be effective.

When using, my complexion remains clear and no breakouts or irritation occur. Product is, however, a bit pricey so I only use in small problem areas of my body, such as my chest and neck.
