Reviews of Avene High Protection Tinted Compact SPF 50 - Beige

I have uneven skin tone and brown spots on my face and I like how this makeup helps to even it out and minimize the brown spots apprearance, yet doesn't feel like you have heavy makeup on. I wish they carried compacts in both a small and larger sizer.

This is an SPF 50 sunscreen that covers all imperfections on my face, including brown spots! I love the product because is is not heavy or sticky. I now use it in place of all other foundation or powder.

I won't wear any other foundation. It has great coverage, blends well, doesn't come off all day and saves me so much time in the morning. I would recommend to everyone.

I use a good tinted moisturizer with SPF daily. But no sunscreen lasts more than 3 or 4 hours. So I carry this to touch up mid-day. It is very pleasant to use and gives smooth, even, undetectable coverage. I'm so glad I found it.

I love the coverage, the fact that its light weight and feels and looks so natural. I have nothing bad to say. This is simply the best tinted compact that I have ever used and my dermatologist recommended it.

I love this product and have been using it for three years. I often use it when playing tennis over a zinc-based sunscreen which made me look like a geisha. I pat on Avene's SPF 50 in Beige and I look normal again. When my compact was finished, I couldn't find it in the stores and looked for a replacement but nothing could compare to Avene's creaminess and coverage. I also wear this product on its own for great coverage and sun protection for less rigorous activities. I have blond hair and the Beige color works well with my skin tone. I highly recommend this product and was happy to have found it through Dermstore. My order came through quickly and efficiently.

I have some dark spots which I am treating with another Avene product, so I needed high sun protection to complete the treatment. This product works perfectly for that! I have a very sensitive skin and Avene is always the best choice for me.

This product is the best tinted compact with spf that I have used. It protects your skin completely from the sun and it only takes one application.

This came recommended as a good cover-up, and I love it for that. I have some very dark purple acne scars, and this does a good job of covering them since it's nice and thick, nurturing, and offers significant sun protection to prevent further discoloration.

This is the foundation I have been waiting for. I have been a frustrated user of mineral makeup for the past 10 years or so, not very happy with the results but have yet to find a suitable replacement for sensitive/intolerant skin. I read about Avene High Protection Compact in Allure magazine as a highly recommended makeup for sensitive skin. I gave it a try reluctantly since there were only two shades to choose from (I choose the beige and I am light/medium skin tone). I just have to say WOW! This stuff is amazing. The coverage is the best I have found for any MAKEUP let alone a sunscreen with 50 SPF. It covers my melasma and redness completely. I would recommend using a power on top or a primer underneath as it does feel a little too moisturizing (I won't use the word greasy because its not quite greasy). You really do have to wash your face a couple of times to get the makeup off, but that just tells me that it will stay on for the whole day! I'm excited to try this in the humid Georgia summers to see if it can hold up.

A very easy high-SPF foundation. Light coverage that is perfect for everyday wear. I wish there were more shades, but the beige has been fine for me.

I haven't found any better makeup with this high of SPF (50). I've had many issues with skin cancer. My dermatologist recommends this makeup and I'm glad to have found it.

It could look smoother on the face, my only critique.

i have hyper-sensitive, severely atopic skin, which is also extremely photosensitive. normally, i can't wear anything on my face without great discomfort & irritation. i have to use sunscreens anyway and i have to use some kind of mineral make-up for public speaking to cover the redness, and just deal with the irritation. this avene compact actually feels better on my face than any other mineral make-up or coverage i've tried. it still causes some irritation & burning, but really much less than anything else.

for those few people outthere with truly severe skin allergies and sensitivity, this is a great product to try.
