Great for gently fading residual scars from acne by anonymous
I have been using the product for a few weeks now. I use the gel after applying moisturizer and before applying make up.
I have fairly decent skin and wanted to accelerate the natural fading of a small dark spot that was remaining from a recent pimple. I also apply the gel each morning on two small areas of discoloration on either cheek that I have self diagnosed as melasma. The gel is gentle, it doesn't burn or tingle. The discolorations appear to be fading.
The pump dispenses the gel in small amounts and that is all that is needed for my purposes. Review posted 10/1/2009.

I started using Pevonia Botanica lightening gel two years ago after I was diagnosed with melasma (brown spots on your face). I tried a lot of lightening gels and none really worked for me. The Pevonia product worked right away and my skin looks great. The gel is not greasy... it is very light and penetrates your skin very quickly. You can use it morning or night under your moisturizer. It is my favorite skin care product and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

The best lightening gel I ever used by anonymous
This lightening gel make my dark spots and acne scar much lighter in just one week. My skin tone is much better and I don't need concealer to cover the spots anymore. I would definitely stay with this wonderful product.

I've been using the lightening gel for about 3 weeks now. I must say that I do see a difference in my skin. I use the gel on dark acne spots that wouldn't seem to go away and darker areas on my face due to sun damage. I am definitely seeing results, although my acne spots have not lightened as much as wish they did. The spots are noticebly lighter and the darker areas of my face are finally beginning to blend in with the rest of my face. I will definitely purchase another bottle of this gel.

It is working! Fade away melasma! by anonymous
After a lot of $$$ spent on lightening creams from my doctor I thought why not give it a shot. It is much cheaper than my other creams that did not work! I'm fighting melasma for 4 years now:( I'm happy with Pevonia. I can tell the difference after 3 weeks of using it.

The gel is comfortable on my skin and lightens melasma spots very well. I still use some cover up below my makeup but use less of it. Really like this gel.

I've had persistent discoloration on my upper lip from melasma that nothing has seemed to help get rid of. I've tried prescription medications and chemical peels, but nothing has really worked to fade it. With the Pevonia lightening gel, I have noticed that it does seem less noticeable, but it still has not totally disappeared.
