Reviews of LipCoTZ SPF 45

I used to use Burt's Bees Lifeguard's Choice but can no longer find it. Their substitute just isn't the same. Found CoTZ on line here at The Derm Store & must say I LOVE it. The main healing/saving ingredient is titanium dioxide as well as lanolin. I am ordering more for backup & to give as gifts. Love this stuff! Hope they don't quit making it!

I am so hapy that I tried LipCoTZ 45. There are many lip products out on the market. However. many do not have an spf in them. What I like about this product is that it protects my lips from getting sunburned but also moisturizes them. I live in a very dry climate and this is a real plus in keeping my lips moisturized

I bought LipCoTZ due to a recommendation from my Dermatologist. I went boating with my husband and usually come back with burned, cracked lips, but the results of this boating trip were different. I had soft lips that were not at all affected by the sun. I will be using this from now on!

I have one of these in every jacket pocket. The sunscreen factor is a plus to the great shine and moisturizing.

Use this lip balm and you will never have painful burned lips again. Great match with Cotz Sunscreen for full face protection

I've been using this lip balm for a few years , works great goes on mostly clear and has a nice mild ginger root scent.It goes on smooth , not grainy at all.

Yuck! This was just a mess to apply to my lips! I bought it specifically for protection of my lips whilst playing tennis in the strong Georgia sun. It was just a mess to apply, tasted bad, and looked awful on me. I bought two, and gave one to my tennis doubles partner. She couldn't stand wearing it, either!

This is quite amazing as a lip balm, let alone providing such a high spf. I can see myself using it even when sun protection is not necessary.

The product is pleasant to apply and works very well. I've known people who have gotten skin cancer on their lips so it really is a good idea to think about protecting your lips.

Since I have had skin cancer in the past, I wanted to be 100% certain that I was protected from the sun. Lip Cotz was easy to apply, stayed on for several hours and I felt secure with the protection it gave me from the sun.

I think Cotz lip sunscreen is a good product. Many sunscreen lip balms are either petroleum-based, or contain chemicals that sting my lips. Fragrance is also a problem. Cotz does not have a strong fragrance. It's (use apostrophe here) a decent product. Its (do NOT use apostrophe here!) sunscreen is also Ti and Zn oxide based, without chemicals.

One thing I did not know until I received the product surprised me: it contains aluminum oxides. Metal oxide powders are good sunscreens, but I am worried about aluminum toxicity. I am using it because I already got it, and avoid other aluminum body products. I am not yet sure if I will buy it again. I really like it, but may only buy it if they remove the aluminum in the future.

I searched for a lip balm with a high SPF after severely burning my lips last year with a lip balm with an SPF of 15. Over the winter I researched lip balms with SPF and settled on trying Fallene's LipCotz. Unfortunately I can't rate the SPF portion yet because I need it for when I go fishing in the summer and it's only the beginning of March but the lip balm itself goes on smoothly and leaves no color on my lips. If it performs the way I expect it to I will never buy a different brand of lip balm for outside again. I'm also encouraged to find out the company doesn't classify LipCotz as a lip balm with an SPF of 45 but rather as sunscreen for your lips.

I like the protection I know I'm getting. There is a brown tint to it but, it isn't noticeable to me.
