Reviews of Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals - Warm Silk
I received compliments immediately after I started using this great makeup. It feels good, its good for your skin, and best of all it looks so great! With other mineral make-up (bare escentuals) I liked the look, but after a week or two it really irritated my skin, not so with Jane Iredale.
Also, no mess like with powder mineral make up Review posted 7/22/2009.
I love liquid minerals, it provides excellent coverage to make your skin tone look even, but doesn't feel heavy like you have a thick coat of makeup on your skin.

I LOVE this foundation! It evens out my skin tone and is not too heavy. It also moisturizes my skin. I really love it!!!

This is wonderful foudation, especially if you apply with a Jane Iredale foundation brush. This will allow you to use less than using your fingers. I really appreciate that is product has additional protetion from the sun.

Goes on so smooth, lasts all day. No trace, mat or shinny finish. Looks and feels great.

I loved the fact that it covers my redness/flushing. It doesn't take alot to cover either. Doesn't look fake and is actually good for my skin as it is mixed with Aloe Vera.

I love the Jane Iredale products. I'm light to medium/light complexion and I use the PurePressed Base Warm Silk (usually in the winter). I think Amber and Warm Silk are perfect for women with light to light/medium complexions and the Golden Glow adds a soft tanned looked if you prefer. And of course, if you put the Golden Glow on heavy, you get a darker tan look - a beautiful color.
During the summer, and sometimes more often, I use the PurePressed Base in Golden Glow on top of the PurePressed Base Amber to get a beautiful color. The Golden Glow color may be more for summer, but since I put it on light, it can be used all year. The Warm Silk, the Golden Glow and the Amber are Warm Tones and they are perfect for the woman who doesn't want her skin to be too "pink-ish" or too "yellow-ish," but to look natural.
I have to admit that I didn't care for the PurePressed Bases from Jane Iredale just by them selves. The coverage was great and the color was great, but they didn't seem to stay on nice all day with my skin. I was constantly "touching up" and by evening my face looked dirty. So I purchased the Liquid Minerals in Warm Silk. I put that on first and then I apply a light coat of Amber PurePressed Base, and then a light coat of Golden Glow PurePressed Base. My skin looks natural, with beautiful coverage, and a beautiful color, and stays that way all day long. It sounds like a lot to put on, but the Liquid Minerals is so light and the Powder is so natural looking that I really don't look "too made up." I get compliments on my complexion all the time and I never used to get compliments before Jane Iredale.
Plus, let me mention here that I have many red, blotchy spots on my face, and scars and you can’t see a thing when I’m done applying my makeup. Everyone thinks I have flawless skin.
If you can swing the price, also pick up the Handi brush from Jane Iredale. It really does make a difference in how the PurePressed Bases go on and stay on.

This foundation goes on so smoothly and does a great job with coverage. You feel like you are putting something healthy onto your skin. Powder for a matte coverage goes on perfectly over the foundation. I use the Jane Iredale warm silk powder over the foundation. Be sure to use the Jane Iredale spray mist, it works perfectly with the foundation.

I've been using Liquid Minerals for 4 years and my skin looks fabulous! I have problem skin and this product does not clog my pores or cause breakouts.

This foundation doesn't apply like regular liquid foundation because it is minerals in an aloe vera base. Because of this I found that you need to apply then wait until the aloe has dried a little and then rub in some more to get the best coverage. I have difficulty covering blemishes because the aloe skims right over them, but I do have better luck after the foundation dries. Overall I don't really have any issue with coverage as I use this foundation with the Jane Iredale Disappear. And I have no more color all over my bathroom countertop as I did when I used the powder minerals.
