It provides a nice application of liquid foundation. but the sponge stains no matter which cleanser you use.

LOVE this sponge! Smooth, even coverage that never looks cakey! I will definitely order again when my set wears out... Perhaps the Pure version since I've noticed pink dye washing out of my original Beautyblender, but I'm still so happy with this product in general I'm recommending it to all of my friends!

Gives me an airbrushed finish, best sponge to use for foundation, be it powder, cream or liquid. The sponge is velvety soft and feels good on my skin.

I loved this sponge!! So much better than any of the cheaper dupes and regular cosmetic sponges. The material is so bouncy and doesn't absorb or waste product. Definitely recommend the beauty blender to friends!

I love how it glides on without any effort! It smooths all the makeup on my face to give an airbrushed look. A tad overpriced...but worth it!

Unlike any brush, beauty blender leaves no trace on your face. And the design of it is really good.

First, the blender will become bigger when it's absorbed with water so it's easy to tell when your blender is ready for use. Secondly, the shape of the blender makes it a great applicator for both large and detailed areas. I press the bottom of the blender to my face for an overall blend. Then I use the tip of the blender for undereye area, sides of my nose, and where I want to thinning the foundation.

I used to apply the foundation with the blender. But then, I found the blender still absorbs my product which is a waste and always make my foundation look thin even though it's a medium to full coverage foundation. So now I use my hand first to even the foundation on my face. Then, I use the blender to blend the product while doing that, the blender will also pick up any excess foundation to give my face a smooth finish. Another thing I've noticed is there is a glow on my face using the blender. I think it's the water absorbed by the blender being pressed on my face works like a mist when being pressed. So it absorbs and dispenses, too.

I read the reviews, and was still a little skeptical. But, I admit, it is not just a sponge. Will keep one on hand at all times.

Love these sponges! Makes it so easy to apply my pressed powder foundation. The makeup blends smoothly. I prefer this sponge to anything else I have used. You will love them!

This sponge is better than anything I've used to apply concealor or foundation. It's better than the little foam sponges, better than any brushes and even better than my own fingers!

It pained me every time to use a traditional makeup sponge to put on makeup. I knew it was probably making my skin worse by smearing bacteria, oil, dead skin, old makeup, etc. all over it every time. I LOVE this make up sponge because it is washed every time. I no longer have to touch my face with my hands or an old makeup sponge. It feels much cleaner. I love the way it blends so evenly too! I have not used it dry, only wet, because I read that it works better when wet. You can use it with powder or liquid foundation. Definitely a good buy.

This is a small, pink, egg shaped sponge that doubles in size when wet it is super soft and bouncy. It is the perfect tool for applying both liquid and loose mineral foundation, all you have to do is stipple or "bounce" the sponge with the foundation on it and you get a flawless airbrushed look. It also works perfectly for blending out concealer or any other makeup to make it look seamless. After using this, I will never go back to using brushes for foundation (and I've used many different kinds from different brands) and I will repurchase again! btw, I've been using the same sponge for over 5 months and its still in great condition, it is only faded a bit and not as hot pink as before. I don't use the cleaner for it though, I just use liquid castille soap and it works perfectly to remove all the foundation from it

Before I knew Dermstore had these, I had already been using for a year. I recently did a wedding that had 6 bridesmaids and a bride (obviously). They are quick, faces were flawless ( with the help of Cinema secrets foundation). Cleaning in between with the included cleanser, is just so easy. They really do last as well if you look after them.

I have used one of these for quite a while and bought this one for a replacement. However, they have changed the material on this sponge and it does not work as well as my original. I am disappointed.

It's easy to blend foundation, and get totally hands free with no finger marks or brush marks.

I love this sponge. I have tried every new type of make up applicators, from chanel foundation brushes to temptuu, and this one is the best. At first I couldnt figure out what the big deal was, but then I actually followed the directions and I have had the perfect foundation base every time. I wash it before I use it with the beauty blender sponges, making sure to get soap over the areas with my old foundation. Then I get it wet with warm water (not too hot, because it make the pink dye of the sponge bleed like crazy). Once it is rinsed clean, I have the perfect moist (and antibacterial) sponge. I put my foundation on the back of my hand and dab the roundest part into it. Next, I gently pat my face with it, not rubbing or gliding it, but dotting it starting on the center of my face out. I use the point end and use the same technique for more coverage when I have a blemish I want to cover or under my eyes.

Awesome flawless coverage but make sure to get the cleaner because the brush needs to be cleaned after each use.

it is easy to use and the result is good. Better than applying the foundation using fingers.

Beauty blender is amazing, it is so much easier to use for foundation then a regular brush, all you do is wet it and use it. I use it every day for my foundation. I can’t live without this product. However it does such up a lot of the product, and it pretty hard to wash the beauty blender ever with its cleaner. They need to find a better way to clean it. Again using it is fun and easy to work with.

I love that this sponge blends your foundation evenly! I like to wet it so it gives me a more natural finish.

I find that this product is easy and fun to use because you pretty much wet the sponge and squeeze out excess water, dip the large end of the sponge with foundation and tap it onto your face. This is a great way to apply liquid foundation in that the finished foundation look is very smooth. However, one of the thing that would discourage me from purchasing this product again is that one sponge lasts approximately between 3 to 6 months (depending on the usage), so costwise it is not worth it in the long run.
