This is a smooth gel that treats scars, old and new. I liked the simplicity of it, and it seems to work over time. I do spend time in the sun, so I had to be careful about putting on sunscreen all the time, which for me sometimes makes me break out again, causing scars. It does sting a little, but not so bad. I liked the product.

Frankly, I bought MaMa Lotion with the idea that the glowing reviews were posted by the manufacturer or the distributor. I acquired it nevertheless because I am a sucker for reviews which suggest that a product for acne scarring really works. Even if the reviews were ringers and not bona fide, the authors who touted the effectiveness of the lotion were very much right. I am pleasantly surprised. I have been using the lotion for approximately two weeks every other night, and I can say with certitude that it has already made a difference in my skin. I am 59 years old and have suffered with acne scars and minor acne breakouts for years. In the last two weeks, I have had no breakouts, and my scars are responding well to treatments with MaMa Lotion. Bumps and unevenness which have characterized my skin since the early teen years are diminishing. As to my scars, although my take is anecdotal and not empirical, I am quite confident that my scars are diminishing in depth and discoloration.

Over the years I have had dermabrasion and laser treatments for scarring, which have had certain appreciable effects. But with MaMa Lotion, I do feel in control.

Very easy to use. You need to be careful not to use it too often because it will make your skin dry and flaky.

This lightweight serum has given me really nice results -- brighter, fresher looking skin. I've always had trouble with slow cell turnover making my skin look dull and had to resort to professional micro-dermabrasionor at-home scrubs to achieve the fresh look I want. I have been able to reduce the frequency of both the expensive professional treatments AND reduce the at-home scrubs because the MaMa lotion has been getting rid of those patchy, dull spots for me.

This is a great product that really clears up your skin and shrinks your pores. I read all the other reviews before buying it, and I was nervous about whether it would dry my skin out or make it peel. In truth, I was able to use the product twice a day and my skin was fine!!! I did that to initially clear it up, but now I use it every other day, or even a little less. If I have some pimples, I will put the MaMA lotion directly on them and it works great. I would not recommend using it twice a day, after a couple of weeks of this, my skin did become a little dry, but everything cleared up fast! I will buy it again. Thanks!

I love the way this product smooths my skin,I have also had less dry patches and breakouts. I didn't like the pump, it sometimes stopped working and I had to rinse it off to get it working again. This happened a lot and eventually it stopped working altogether.I emailed the manufacturer and the sent me a new one, no problems with it yet.

This is a great exfoliating lotion that keeps my skin clear and doesn't cause excessive flaking.

I bought this for cystic acne, acne scars, and unven skin color. I have used it a few times, and have not noticed any differences. Most people say give it time, so I'm going to keep trying it.

I purchased the MaMa lotion after having a friend recommend it. My friend is about 15 years younger than I am so I was not anticipating getting the same results she did because her skin was much younger to start with.
