Reviews of NuCelle Mandelic Wash
The NuCelle system has been amazing for my skin. It keeps it so smooth with it's gentle, constant exfoliation, and has never irritated my skin. Probably one of my favorite things is that you don't wet your face before you apply it. It lasts forever, since you only need to use about 2 pumps. However: it is NOT a makeup remover. It doesn't tend to get heavy makeup off, so I would definitely suggest using a makeup remover prior to using the cleanser (especially if you use waterproof mascara).

This was the second product I tried in the NuCelle line and I have been using it for over a year now. The entire system works great on my combination skin. I have tried countless other washes form drug store to DR stuff and this is hands down the best! the price is so reasonable too.

I am very happy with this face wash. It leaves my skin feeling very clean and refreshed. I will definitely buy again.

I love this product. I have very sensitive skin that is rosacea prone. This product combined with the other products in this line help prevent flare ups. It makes my skin smooth, and my pores smaller.

The most important thing to mention here is that this wash contains 0.5% Mandelic Acid - for some reason none of the websites I shopped on contained this information.
Whenever products contain exfoliating acids (salicylic, malic, lactic, glycolic, etc), there is a concern that they will be drying and/or harsh to your skin. Mandelic acid is touted to be good for sensitive skin (which I have) so I tried this face wash and I really like it.
When I first started using it I thought it was slightly drying, but now I don't notice it at all. Last night my skin actually felt dewy and great after washing my face - I have to say I can't remember it feeling that nice, ever. I do get some small pimples and blackheads and those have reduced as well since switching to this wash. I can't credit this wash alone for improving my skin, since I have changed several things about my routine recently, but it is definitely a nice wash that doesn't dry out your skin, gives a little bit of non-irritating exfoliation, and does a good job removing makeup too (including mascara). The bottle lasts for a long time. When I finally do run out, I will purchase this wash again. BTW, my advice would be to be nice to your skin! I used to have slightly dry skin and I believe I have made it oily by using so many drying acne products. I now use only nice, pampering things on my skin - gentle washes, moisturizing toner, moisturizer (with natural oils - I always leaned toward oil-free before), and SPF during the day (which I've always worn). I think I am seeing my skin improve because of these changes and hopefully over time my skin will produce less oil too. Review posted 11/7/2007.
