Product has helped smooth the extensive scars from a bilateral mastectomy. Scars are lighter in color and much, much softer.

I should have done more research on allicin before purchasing this expensive product. I got it for my acne scars. I was not impressed with the results in the short term (no harm-no good) and after doing my research I had little hope of anything better in the long run. So i'll use it for my 13 year old when he gets a new scar.

Mederma is a cream (gel actually) that you're supposed to apply 3-4 times a day for several weeks to diminish unsightly scars. I am currently using it on a recent shoulder surgery scar. The scent is very pleasant, the product is non-greasy and dries quickly once applied. The only downfall is that it's hard to find time to apply it three or four times a day. I've just been doing it morning and night, and my scar actually is fading after about 3 weeks of use.

Used to decrease the look of scarring, in my case after surgery. Recommended by the PA who assisted. He said he didn't know the ingredients but had heard positive reports from many people who had the same surgery. The aroma of this product is wonderful, making everything seem OK. It seems to help soften the scar and skin around it, thus making the scar less red and deep into the skin

I find this product very easy to use! Mederma is providing excellent results with the minimalization of scars.

I've been using this product for a few weeks on some existing acne and I can definitely see a difference. With the use of this product, most of the acne is either not leaving scars or leaving minimal scars (less than what I am used to). It smells good and is absorbed fast too.
