Obagi Nu-derm Exfoderm Forte is part of the Obagi skin care regiment. It is an exfoliate enhancer and does exactly what it promises to do! If used as directed, it leaves you with clearer, smooth facial skin and makes wrinkles less noticeable. I've been using Obagi products for over a year and would not hesitate to purchase their excellent products again.

After reading the positive reviews about this product on this site, I thought I would try this on my admittedly sensitive skin. I'm not sure if I was allergic or what, but this product caused a cascade of pimples (almost 30!) to appear on my face over a two week period. I even had to stay home from work for a few days, it was so embarrassing and unprofessional looking. Stopping use of the product caused blemishes to disappear.

I started the Obagi at my Dr. office ONLY after I promised to keep it up for at least 90 days. I was told to "expect" breakouts, bad skin, peeling and redness and possibly other problems for the first month or two and I had to promise to "live through it". Well, I did see some breakouts, and I did have a LOT of redness and peeling, but it was fairly brief - just few weeks. I am now into the second 6 week phase and am past all of that nasty stuff and I am starting to see results, but I can tell it will take a year to see full results. In fact, all of this is clearly stated in the Obagi literature and on their website. This is a really great product. When my face was too red, we cut back on the retin A and added the product called Action and that helped that situation. I recommend this product and I highly recommend that if you start this program, you MUST expect the first month or two to not be pleasant. Read your literature so you won't be surprised. It says that the bad skin stage that you have to go through is expected, necessary and it will pass. I can tell you in my case, it did pass as advertised.
This product works excellent when used with Retin A. I helps slouch off all the dry flaking skin and makes your face more radiant.

I am 60 years young. My esthetician recommended Obagi skin care products to use for my sensitive skin to erase the sun damage and age spots from my face and neck areas. The Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm Forte was one of the best products I ever used to restore my skin texture and restore the smoothness and youthful shine that I used to have many years ago.

Overall, I like the results I get from this product. I have been using it for over a year with the complete Obagi Nu-Derm system. At times my skin has never looked better. The pores are smaller and tighter and the lines and wrinkles are less noticeable. However, there are days when my skin looks very red and flaky. There have been times when I've walking into meetings not knowing that I had huge flakes of skin hanging off of my face. That said, I continue to buy the product. Just trying to warn that if you have dry, combination or sensitive skin, or are using a Retin-A product like I am, this may "exfoliate" at little more than you want at inopportune times. If you are willing to not always look your best, this product can give some very nice long term results.

Continuously exfoliates skin on problem areas or all over the face to maintain smoothness when used daily. Works best in conjunction with Tretinoin and Obagi Blender. It works well and will cause sloughing of the skin so don't start right before an important event.

I have used Obagi products in the past but after reaching the result I was after, clear beautiful skin, I swithched to another product which was a great product. However, over time my skin color became too uneven with blotches and skin texture began to change and fine lines began to appear. After using Obagi products for three weeks skin is becoming clear, looks and feels better.

This is a wonderful product; gentle exfoliation; perfect for oily skin. I use this on the nights I am not using Retin A.
