Reviews of Obagi Nu-Derm Physical Sunblock SPF 32

This sunblock is really thick, but didn't make my skin greasy or oily like most sunblocks. I have used a lot of obagi products and have been very impressed. My skin is oily/acne prone and I have had problems with hyperpigmentation and a sunblock like this really helps!

This product is really great at keeping my hyperpigmentation stable. I'm very active and it seems to stay on well.

Really wonderful for my sensitive skin. I have both rosacea and eczema and my skin won't tolerate chemical sunscreens. I love the fact that the zinc content is higher in this product than in others, really provides a cooling effect. The only drawback is the bottle - it's very stiff and you end up losing a lot of product by not being able to get the last bit out.

VERY hypo-allergenic. I have lots of allergies and this was great. The only down side is that it is fairly heavy, and does not go into the skin as much as I would have liked.

I love this sunblock! It provides me great protection against the sun and it doesn't cause any break outs! If you are undergoing, chemical peels, IPL, etc - this is the perfect physical sunblock.

the only bad thing about this product is the white film almost like a mask that is left after you applied the product, i dont think is good for darker skin colors that is total no noo

Pros: Non-irritable (all ZnO), matte finish

Cons: obvious white cast, collects in pores and emphasizes them, ultrahigh price, PPD (UVA) protection factor at most 9

Conclusion: Obagi needs to tint it and improve the spreading properties so it doesn't collect in pores.

what i like about this product is that it does not only protect my skin from the sun, but can also use it as a moisturizers.

what i didn't like about this product is that it is more expensive than most sunblock products in the market.

I was given the gift of melasma through preganancy. I have learned that good sun protection will keep melasma away. Through an intense investigation of what type of sunscreen is best for melasma and aslo one to just to keep wrinkles away, I discovered that one has to look for sunscreen with either titanium dioxide or zinc oxide - prefferably zinc oxide. Nu-derm's Obagi Physical Sunblock has serevd me well. I hardly ever notice any reapperarances of melasma when I use it and i feel more confident when I am out in the sun than ever before.

This stuff works pretty well, non-greasy, no medicin-y smell to it either. I'll be getting some more after this bottle runs out :)
