I have extremly oily skin. I really feel like I have tried every product out there but nothing worked. Finally I have found a product that controls my shiny face. I will definately continue to use OC Eight as part of my daily routine.

I have oily skin and this product helped me to stay matte all day. It feels creamy to the touch.Small enough to bring it in your purse for touch ups.

I had tried Sephora's Cosmedicine Medi-Matte and loved it and was looking for a lower priced alternative. Clinac OC OC Eight Mattifying Gel was only $3 cheaper, but I figured it would work just as well. Unfortunately I was completely wrong. This stuff doesn't "mattify" or control shine AT ALL. I might as well have just been putting on more moisturizer for all the good it did. I even tried using large amounts, and the results were the same. Don't waste your money on this tripe.

The OC 8 Mattifying Gel is a gel that you put on right after you moisturize and right before you put on your makeup. It goes on smooth but you must make sure you rub it in all the way because if you don't sometimes you can see lines of it after you put your makeup over it. But it works!

I have just used this for the first time today. It kept me looking good for about 3 hours, and then I had to blot. I guess we'll see what the rest of the day brings. I do have incredibly horribly oily skin.
Actually works to help keep my skin from getting shiny. Nothing else EVER has. I still have to use blotting sheets every few hours, but this is a huge improvement.

works great to keep oil at bay for hours, unlike powders or oil sheets that only solve the problem for about half an hour. also feels great on skin and doesn't clog pores.

This gel goes on smoothly and easily. It works better than any other product I know for keeping skin from having a shiny, oily appearance, especially when combined with a quality translucent face powder. I find that it lasts two to four hours, depending on my activity level.

this is a great product for someone with oily/combination, or acne prone skin. it was actually reccomended to me by a dermatologist. apply before makeup and gives you a matte look and also creates a barrier so makeup wont clog pores.
