Reviews of OC Eight Professional Mattifying Gel

This product is wonderful! It goes on like a lotion, then dries to a matte finish and makes my skin look as close to flawless as it's been since I was 14 (i.e., 32 years ago!).

This is a great oil-control product! It lasts almost all day, and it really cuts down on oil and shine! I apply it as the last step of my facial routine, just before applying my makeup. It's also easy to reapply over your makeup later in the day, if necessary. You don't need to use much. For me, a tube lasts about 3 months.

I use OC eight every morning. I really helps controle my oily skin! I would highy recomend this.

This Gel is the best for women of color. Especially for those of us with excessive oily skin.

This is a somewhat lightweight, white gel that you apply over your moisturizer, under your foundation to keep you from being oily throughout the day. For me (I'm really oily), it does a great job during the first half of the day, but wears off after lunchtime. I might try reapplying it mid-day and see if that helps. Overall though, this is the best oil-control product I've tried.

Tried OC Eight after my dermatologist recommended it... breakouts kept persisting on the oiliest area of my face, my chin. Since using I have not had one blemish, and because of the matte effect I can go without makeup (works for several hours)! Also, it doesn't dry my skin out, even in combination with acne topicals. Pricey, but lasts a long time.

OC eight is the only product i have found that actually reduces my facial oil.

I am 35 years old and have a couple skin concerns: anti-aging and oil control. My skin has a tendency to get oily as the day progresses; my makeup seems to "slide off" by the end of the day. In the morning, I put a pea size amount of OC Eight over oil-free sunscreen and moisturizer. It soaks in perfectly, and I put foundation over it. OC Eight limits the oil on my face and does not dry out my skin at all. My makeup appears to last longer. Also, I sometimes touch-up by putting OC Eight on in my t-zone over my makeup in the middle of the day. It soaks in well, even over makeup, and does not streak. I am extremely pleased with this product.

I love the gel. It keeps me shine free all day long and a little goes a long way!
