I was afraid this shampoo would make my hair look blue, but it does not. My hair feels nice and soft after using it.

I am just starting to let my hair go to it's natural color, and this shampoo was recommended.

Very good for removing/toning down brassiness in blonde hair. Mild. Leaves hair in great condition.

I have very silver white hair and receive a lot of complements on my hair. This Rene Furterer Okara mild silver shampoo is made especially for my type hair. I was a little fearful when my hairdresser used it for the first time. It turned purple on my hair and I was afraid I would end up with a blue tint. That did not happen. The purple color disappeared right after she applied it. I'm very happy with the product. It takes a very small amount of shampoo each time I use it.

There are other products on the market that are cheaper and supposedly do the same thing. I may try them just because the price point is so high on this product. I use it to keep my blonde hair from going brassy.
