Reviews of Jane Iredale PureLash Mascara - Black Onyx

I have tried two other natural mascaras and they lasted a very short time. Even though I haven't had this one long, I can already tell it is much better - more fluid and goes on very nicely.

I try many Mascara's and they all seem to go on too thick.

I appreciate that this one goes on much better without the messy thickness.

I have always wanted to try Jane Iredale products for their commitment to natural ingredients and I was not disappointed. Great product, lengthens curls and conditions, very easy to remove and causes no irritation at all.

It's alright. Easy to use. Not clumpy at all. The color is dark. Lashes are long and pretty.

Love it from the first time. This is my second bottle and I love it. It's EWG approved and healthy for you and your eyes.

It goes on nicely, but wish it would not come off so easily.

At times it comes out of the tube in blobs.

Jane Iredale is known for safe products, that is why I use this one.

Maybe it's just me, but every time I've used this mascara, my first visit to the ladies room, I'm aghast to see black smudges under my eyes.

Obviously, I tried with less moisturizer, adding powder to set my concealer, etc. Nothing stops it.

I was looking for a true waterproof mascara. This product is not truely waterproof. From the fist time i used it i had black marks at the corners below my lower eyelashes.

My biggest complaint with mascara is when it gets clumpy, and luckily this mascara does not. I plan to buy it again.

Jane Iredale Purelash goes on smooth and builds up lashes quickly. Doesn't contain parabens which are harmful.

Based on other customer reviews of gentleness and effectiveness, I purchased this product. So far so good. No eye irritation. Occasional smudge but no more so than any other product. Looks good.

This mascara works well as a everyday mascara. I wouldn't say that it is amazing at lengthening and thickening the eyelashes, but it works as well most other name brand mascaras and I like that it contains safer ingredients.

This mascara is long lasting, with just some clumping. Overall, I like it a lot.

I love the color and how it works so well! It does not clump and is really nice!!

I wear contact lenses and need a mascara that won't give me any problems - this mascara smudged and messed up before I even left the house. I returned it.
