I think this is a pretty good product overall. Not the best but I don't know that I have found THE best yet. It seems a little heavier than the actual foundation which seems odd but it does decrease shine.

This powder is great, provides a nice weightless matte canvas. Can use over your jane iredale powder foundation, but on days when my skin is looking good, I just use it by itself to control shine. It only keeps the shine away for a few hours because my skin is oily, but I just blot my face and then the powder still looks good for the afternoon.

This is easily the best finishing powder I've used. It blends right in with my skin tone and never looks cakey. Just enough to take away the shine. I also appreciate the automatic sun protection I'm getting from the minerals.

This is a great product. It adds the finishing touch that makes your skin look creamy and smooth. Just apply as the last touch and you're ready to go!

I love this stuff! I actually use it first as a base powder to minimize my oil throughout the day and it works great! One of my favorite products in the Jane Iredale line.

I have oily skin and the Jane Iredale PureMatte Finish Powder blots it all alway with a very natural finish. No other product can compare and I've tried many!

I have EXTREMELY oily skin,and was hoping for the best in this powder after reading previous reviews from happy customers. I was very disappointed in the lasting power of this product. It gave a beautiful finish when applied, but within 2-3 hours I was sooo greasy. I guess it would be great if you have NORMAL skin. Good luck.

Very sheer but very long lasting. Keeps my skin loking perfect-- not too matte and chalky, but not too shiny-- all day.
