This lipstick is great and smooth. It stays on nicely. This is a good indirect red color that isn't overpowering.

liked the color, texture, staying power, made my lips very soft. Disliked the way the entire lipstick dislodged from the base so now is floating loosely in it's case & makes a mess every time I try to use it (very carefully). I don't know the reason for this as I did not drop the lipstick or forcefully dislodge it from its base. Update: I mailed this tube back in. Still waiting for the refund. However, ordered a new tube which is fine so far, though the color is sheerer than I remembered it. Still had some staying power (lasts from morning until lunch time).

This was my first Jane Iredale product, I bought it looking for a sexy yet subdued hue I could wear in both my daily roundabouts at work and the bank and at a nice dinner out. This shade and lipstick fits that service beautifully. It's softening and delightful on the lips, especially when applied on after a softening lip scrub.

This lipstick is hydrating, unscented, and subtly glossy. I LOVE this color because it is so soft and pretty. With the SPF that it has, and the fabulous, gold lipstick case, I bring my Brett lipstick with me everywhere I go, and where it everyday! I also totally appreciate that it is non-toxic, has great hydrating ingredients, and that Jane Iredale offers so many color options. My skin tone is a golden Asian color, and the Brett works fabulously for everyday looks!

This lipstick lasts forever, tastes good (I'm not eating it, people! You know what I mean!), has smooth, moisturizing texture, blends in perfectly, stays on long, and has the most beautiful hue for my complexion, which is fair-neutral with slight warm, yellow-peachy undertones. I like it because it's an easy way to feel prettier if I'm having a bad-image day.

Jane Iredale Lip Colour in Brett is such a beautiful lip colour and the texture is just what the doctor ordered!!! It really stays put and makes your lips feel oh so nourished!!! You can not go wrong with this product!!! It feels like butter and I mean really good!!!

I adore this lipstick and have purchased it at least 3 times, which is unusual for me. The formulation is soft and creamy, and it feels as nourishing as my lip balm. The color stays put for hours, and my lips never feel dry or parched. Brett would likely flatter most fair to medium skin tones, whether you are cool or warm; it looks wonderful against my neutral-to-cool pink-porcelain skin (blue/green/grey eyes and light brown hair). I'd describe Brett's color as a berry warmed by the sun or perhaps even a shimmery cinnamon -- but not too brown or orange. It's THE perfect every-day color, which you can apply as a light stain or layer for a more sophisticated, pigmented, cranberry look. I also love the heavy, gold packaging, which feels substantial (not cheap!) in the hand.

Often it's hard to select a Jane Iredale color because there are so many. But Brett is a staple in my cadre of lipsticks -- that goes great with all kinds of looks and outfits.

feels good for hours, and actually feels like some medical or curative product. winter chapped or sensitive lips will love this stuff
