All the benefits of minerals without the mess! The texture and color are the most refined of any minerals on the market - and I've tried them all! It's easy to adjust coverage from very light to medium, depending on how you apply it.

Jane Iredales PurePressed Base offers terrific coverage. It is a pressed powder, and comes with an applicator pad; however, I prefer to use a Kabuki brush to apply the powder. Excluding really hot and humid days, the base stays on all day. Even on humid days, I typically need minimal touch-up (and my t-zone is oily). Since this is a powder base, a powder blush doesn't stay on too well. So, I would recommend a cream blush if you wish to use blush over the base.

I really like the powder very much. I've suffered from adult acne for a while now and it doesn't make me break out at all. I'll be buying more when the one I have runs out for sure!

This is the best base I've ever found. Very pure and clean, has actually helped clear my skin of breakouts. I have experiemented with many ways of applying this product (with a brush, with a damp sponge, with a dry sponge) and my current favorite is the dry sponge method. Very quick and very good coverage. You can use concealer under or on top of this base.

I love the coverage the foundation gives. It is very natural looking and makes my skin feel soft.

Jane Iredale makes the best products on the market in my opinion. The PurePressed Base does it all in one easy step - coverage, even outs your skin tones, SPF, lasts all day. I even use this before SCUBA diving and my skin still seems protected in the water. I've tried other similar products, but I always come back to jane Iredale.

I really like this product because it is so natural. No toxic chemicals like a lot of other make ups. I will continue to buy this product for that very reason. However, I am a bit disappointed with the "shinyness" of my face. Within an hour of applying, my face becomes extremely shiny.
