Reviews of DHS Regular Shampoo

I have oily scalp but severely cold east coast winter turned my scalp dry. After reading reviews here I ordered a bottle to try and I have to say I am satisfied. During summer this shampoo won't be enough to keep my scalp clean so i will alternate between this one and another shampoo for oily hair.

I love this shampoo - it is very mild. Since I have to wash my hair everyday - I need something that will not irritate my scalp. I love the way it suds up - it gives me the feeling of a really clean scalp without the harshness.

I've been using DHS shampoo (regular) for more than 30 years now, and can honestly say I've never had a problem with it. It lathers well and gets rid of itchy scalp plus having a clean smell. It was recomended to me by a dermatoligist, along with Dove bar soap as being least of an irritant to sensetive skin.

no build-up, hair feels clean and not over-dry. I bought this product initially because my hair was beginning to thin, and wanted a gentler cleanser. This product does the trick.

I had dandruff problems but after using this product, it disappeared!!! perfect for your scalp!

I have had scalp Psorisis since I was 14.The only product that controls my Psorisis is DHS regular shampoo.If I wash my hair every other day my Psorisis stays away.Nothing else has ever worked !!DHS regular shampoo isnt harsh like tar shampoo and your scalp feels and looks great!

I wash my hair and scalp daily, which we have all learned is not a hazard given the sweat, oil, smoke and air pollution that gets in our hair everyday. However, some chemicals in shampoos admittedly can have an effect on the hair's feel: in my case dry, crackly and unmanageable. My dermatologist gave me a sample of DHS regular shampoo and the result was wonderful. I tried finding the exact type of DHS in grocery stores and pharmacies, but not one of them carried the DHS with the yellow lable. Dermstore does, and the free shipping makes this purchase (I've twice bought DHS from Dermstore) a no-brainer.

DHS is mild and gentle yet cleans well. I like it the best of the shampoos on the market for sensitive skin. I have had psoriasis all of my life, and have been using DHS for at least 25 years. It's difficult to find in drug stores anymore, so ordering it from Dermstore is very convenient.

I really like this shampoo because I don't feel like it's leaving behind any unnecessary film on my hair. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in back acne.

I had searched for a long time for a shampoo that would accommodate the two main issues I have with my hair: oily and fine. Most shampoos I have tried over the years for oily hair would not give my hair the body it needed. The other problem was that they dried out my hair too much, making it look dull, without shine, and, since my hair is shoulder length, the hair closer to my scalp seemed alright, but the middle part and the ends of my hair would be too dry and turn brittle all too soon. On the other hand, the shampoos I tried for fine hair would leave a residue which made my hair oily again.

Through reading more about their line of products I happened to come across DHS’s shampoo which solved both of my hair problems instantly. After I wash my hair with this particular product it feels squeaky clean, BUT there is no drying out effect, which is marvelous. The other problem of my fine hair got solved as well, as this particular shampoo gives body to each individual hair, which enables me to now go up to three days without having to wash my hair. I find this product absolutely fabulous and have used it ever since I found it.
