This product is extremely effective but heed the warnings. Do not overuse or else your run the risk of irritating your skin. It is very drying. If you are new to this product, I would suggest applying for 30 minutes and then washing it off. Do that every other night just to "prep" your skin and then use accordingly.

This potent retinol cream may be lightweight but it packs a powerful punch for aging skin. It smooths the surface of your skin from the first use and over time.. yes, it does take a little time.. really does help to improve the appearance of even the deepest of wrinkles. Unfortunately, I foolishly stopped using it for a few months (actually I had trouble finding it again!) and I nearly undid all the benefits I had obtained. I hadn't realized just how beneficial this product had been for the deep lines around my mouth (habitual lip pursing!) until I noticed those wrinkles that had been on the verge of disappearing completely were back with a vengeance!

This is a strong product. When I first started applying it my face flaked and turned red but this stopped after after the first 3 applications. I've been using it for about a month now and I apply it twice a week. I started to see results after the first week. It's evened out my complexion and gives my skin a softer look to it. Some small wrinkles on my forehead seem to have become nearly invisible too. It doesn't really stop break-outs but it does reduce the time it takes to clear them up. Overall I really like this product and would buy it again.

This is a very strong product. I had been using a retinol product for approximately 3 months before switching brands and strengths. This product is much stronger than the other brand I was using. Go slow. I had very oily skin prone to breakouts. The pores on my nose are now clean and whitehead-free. My acne has cleared up. I have only the occasional bump. You will have some peeling in the beginning. Be patient and don't get in a hurry and over use the product in the beginning like I did. I am going on 2 months now, and I use the product every two nights.

I began noticing immediate changes after one use of this product. My face began peeling and the texture started to change. Will continue to use this product, but have cut back to twice a week.

This a great product for people who, like me, are battling acne and wrinkles at the same time. It removes that top layer of skin which makes my skin look fresher and younger, and keeps my pores from getting too clogged which is helping a lot with the acne. It is a great all around product! I've used Retin-A in the past and I like this a lot better because it is not as drying/irritating.

My aesthetician reccomended I use this product at night to control skin breakouts and minimize fine lines and uneven skin tone. The product began doing its job after two nights, with light peeling and encouraging skin renewal. I am using this 3 times/week and have noticed improved skin tone and looks healthier overall.

This product applies easily and does not appear to be as irritating of other retinol products I have used in the past. I got a rapid slouging response within the first week, and now the product is easily tolerated. Currently I am using 2-3 times per week. The cell turnover has also cleared out some clogged pores that come with "menopausal acne".

I am a big retinol fan been using the stuff for years and love the results. This product was a little too irritating for my skin. I was so satisfied with the lower dose that I had been using for over 2 years - .50, I thought 1.0 would provide even better results! Wrong - it is extremely drying. I would not recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin like mine.

on the advice of a physician, I upgraded from Renova to this . . .its a little stronger. I didn't notice any irritation at all when I started using this.
