Reviews of Colorescience Skin Mattifying Primer SPF 20 - Chocolate Mousse

It goes on soft and blends in nicely to my very fair skin, I do feel that my powder makeup stays on nice and matte for a longer time. I found it to not be so good over lotion as it directs, and it isn't great or liquid foundation. It works nice to give skin even tone and texture.

This product is sooo luscious! I feel like this is the product that I didn't know I was looking for. I have fair skin that needs just a tiny bit of color added to it. All of the foundations I have used seem to add either too much color making my face look like a different color than the rest of my body, or they white wash my face. This primer adds just that hint of color underneath my foundation that looks natural and fresh. Plus, I have really oily skin so I was constantly touching up my makeup before. That just seemed to add to the cakey look. Now I only apply a finishing powder once in the late afternoon instead of every couple of hours and my makeup goes on smoothly.

Great for hiding imperfections and giving a healthy glow. Good for acne prone skin too.

This product is amazing it gives a very sheer veil of color and allows you skin to shine through while providing SPF20 protection.

I have a very tough time with Melasma after having two babies (and years of sun worshipping), so I now use zinc oxide based sunscreens which are always sticky and white (I've tried them all)--I mix with this and it helps mattify it and give it color. Just love!!

I was hesistant when I purchased this product because I am a blonde and fair skinned and thought it may be too dark for me. I was wrong, this product is not too dark and gives me a slight tint of color on my face. It fills in my fine crows feet lines. This is a primer that smells like chocolate mousse and is a good base before putting on foundation. It blends well with makeup and smooths lines.

This is the ultimate answer to those who don't really want to wear make-up. I am pale with dry skin. Typical make-up is difficult to wear for the color as well as keeping it moist on my skin. Colorescience Primer Chocolate Mousse is the answer. It goes on easily and cover uniformily. It stays moist. It gives my pale skin just enough color without looking MADE UP. This is a smooth, silky, smoothing, light foundation. Almost more of a tined moisturizer really. My skin loves it and it looks great!

This is an excellent base for oily/acne prone such as mine.The color is a bit dark for my complexion so I mix it with the Colorscience Wild to Mild. This works really well for me. I usually use this as a primer and then cover with a mineral face powder. However if my skin is clear of blemishes I can go all day with just the Chocolate Mouse/Wild to Mild combo. I don't think that it helps to clear my skin but it definitley doesn't cause any breakouts or irritation and it fills the large pores and looks great all day!
