I used it for 4 years. It feels thick but looks like put on cream on my face and it is not sticky at all. That's what I like a lot.

The sunblock has zinc oxide which really helps me - I have vitiligo where I don't tan, just burn. And it's gentle enough without other chemicals so I don't break out with a rash from using it.

This sunscreen contains zinc, and my husband's skin cancer surgeon recommended he use a zinc-based product. It definitely helps prevent sunburns! Love it!

I had been a long time user of the Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry Touch sunblock, but discovered that for some reason, it didn't work on the tops of my feet. My dermatologist gave me some samples of Solbar Shield and it did the trick. I now use Solbar Shield on my face and feet. The only downside is that it takes awhile to dry, so you have to put it on before you get dressed otherwise it will slide off.

My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen because it does not contain any of the new "nano" substances that are believed to absorb into the skin and even to the bloodstream. We use it for our kids who are avid swimmers and we have been very happy with it.

I liked that it had zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. It's difficult to find sunscreen with these ingredients which my dermatologist recommended.

I like this product it is not thick comes out white but rubs in well. you can use it on your face I did not breakout from it. The kids can use it to. We used this in Hawaii and did not get burned!

This sunscreen was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I have super sensitive skin as a result of facial psoriasis. Regular sunscreens irritate my skin and sting on application. This product contains titanium dioxide which is soothing to skin conditions. It also contains zinc oxide.

This sunscreen is very light weight and you only have to use a thin layer for full coverage. Practically oderless. I've been searching for a product like this for 20 years and have finally found!

Everything i was looking for in a sunscreen except not waterproof. If you apply too much it can be a little greasy.

This is a very effective non-chemical sun block. Pros: absorbed quickly; no smell and effective block Con: goes on thick and leaves a "chalky" residue. However, that's easily overcome by adding a little foundation.

My dermatologist encouraged me to use SSS #40 after a laser procedure for sun damage. I intended to do just that - but probably only short-term as required. I will use this product daily - and not need reminding!

This product has zinc oxide that melts into your skin and is invisible! It stays on through sweat and swimming..

I'm being smart about the sun now, my skin is protected and my dermatologist is thrilled :)

Not as hard to apply as most other Zinc and Titanium sunscreens. Becomes a little greasy after awhile but easily fixed with blotting sheets. I liked that this doesn't have any chemical sunscreens or any parabens or other preservatives like that. Also fragrance free is a plus.

I purchased this for my teenage daughter with acne. It works well and keeps her skin white and does not cause breakouts. I would purchase it again, although she does not use it every day. It is fairly waterproof.

This product works well under makeup. I have oily skin and I was worried about it making my face too oily. It did not do that. I love the product.
