Reviews of DS Laboratories Spectral.DNC Hair Loss Treatment

This product was highly recommended for my AGA. I've had some increased shedding in the first two weeks and am looking for some regrowth still.

2nd month of using this product. Not much to notice yet, but I will give it through this year to see if there are any results.

I've been using another minoxidil product for female thinning and hairloss. It worked ok, but my scalp felt dry and tight and I was concerned about the alcohol being the culprit. I knew Spectral DNC had virtually no alcohol but used nanosomes to deliver the actives so I tried it and am very pleasantly surprised. My scalp feels good, not tight. I used to see little white crusty rings around each hair root before, now they're gone, so the skin must not be dried out anymore. The Spectral lotion itself gives the hair a bit of body at the roots too. Also, this product has all the cutting edge ingredients for hairloss in addition to Minoxidil. I'm especially interested in Aminexil, the ingredient for fibrosis. I've only been on this for about 10 days but I think it's going to be a winner and I'll get growth back. I will definately reorder and the Dermstore price is right!

This product is extremely easy to use. You just have to spray the product directly onto the thinning area and gently massage it into your scalp. I have been using this treatment for about one month now and I actually see little fuzzy hairs beginning to grow. I am in my early thirties and am not bald but I do notice that my hair is starting to get thinner and my hairline looks like it is receding a little so I'm trying this product to stop the thinning and prevent future baldness. So far this product looks like it is working.

It works great. I'd get it again... I am getting it again... In a heart beat... It works GREAT. Great Product!

I don't know if this product actually works.... it wasn't practical at all for me to use. The directions say to spray a lot of it on the area, but it's a yellow liquid which will just run down your head and what's left will leave your hair crusty and wet looking. Twice a day with that? I don't see how anyone could use this product the way it was intended. They must be running around with a hat on 24/7.

It wasn't worth it to me to send it back considering I bought it with a $20 off coupon. So now I use it kind of as a hair gel once after my every other day hair wash. Just a couple of squirts, not ten or whatever.

As far as im concerned this is the most cutting edge topical product available. In addition to Eucapil it has worked amazingly well for me. However the compromise is the yellow color. The intesity of the yellow varies but IMO its too yellow and takes effort to rub every last bit away or you will see yellow on your scalp. If they could reduce the yellow without compromising the efficacy it would be great.

I definitely noticed results when I just started using the product. However, I've been using it on and off and hair started falling out again. But like it says on the packaging, if the problem is genetic you have to use the product consistently. For now, I'm planning to stick with it because it did appear to work in the beginning but it's been over a year now and I not seeing any significant improvement.

I tried the shampoo first, after approx 2 months (closer to 3) I started noticing the hair growth. The third month and approaching the 4th I would say it was (is) significant, enough to continue the treatment. At about the third month I start using the topical treatment as well. Twice a day, and my hair seems fuller than it has been in several years. No, it won't give you a thick full head of hair like you once had (like I once had) but it fills in that area on top so when you look in the bathroom mirror and that light above it wont show so much of your scalp but a more fuller scalp. Try it and stick with it for three months anyway.

I should say though, that I did wash my hair twice every day (in the same shower time) I would leave the first wash on for a few minutes, then rinse, wash again, leave it on for another few minutes. I did this for the first two months, then cut back to 2 washes a few times a week, but once on the alternate days. This is going against the instructions, but I felt more might be better. It may well be but you might not have to, this depends on how you feel about it.

At this point I'm about 5 months into this treatment and wash my hair every day, twice two times a week. Derm Store has the lowest price on this plus free shipping. Happy camper when I found this site.
