Reviews of Mustela Stelatopia Cream Cleanser

We love this product. It gentle and no striping to the skin and leaves the skin nice and soft.

This creamy, foaming cleanser was what I needed. I have had eczema all my life and recently was diagnosed w/rosacea. I get red, raw patches of weepy skin, as well as very dry patches of eczema on my face and body. My hands tend to crack along the knuckles, and itch a lot.

I've used many cleansers over the years, and found some that don't strip my skin. However when I read some nice reviews about this, I thought I'd give a shot, and I'm glad I did. For some reason, this cleanser feels like a treatment and cleanser in one. I'm not sure why, but not only does it not strip my skin, but it actually seemed to soothe it. I had a raw, rough patch on my neck for months, and after using this for a week, it started to heal.

I was also surprised that I could use this on my scalp. It didn't leave my hair feeling oily or heavy. Although I wouldn't use this as a regular shampoo, I defn, use it when my scalp is feeling very irritated for a couple days, and things calm down.

After trying so many brands for my son and his cradle cap turned dandruff and his tight dry skin I decided to go for it and buy this product. It did not disappoint. After a few days of using it his skin and scalp were totally improved. Now that it's summer I just use it as shampoo to keep his head flakes at bay and wash his body with cheaper baby soap. I used this stelatopia cleanser in conjunction with mustela stelaker for cradle cap and can't say enough good things about that product either. I have not needed to buy all the other lotion or bath oil--just the cleanser and cradle cap cream have fixed him right up. I have recommended this line of products to several people and everyone has loved them. I know it has not been a miracle for every baby--my nephew's skin and scalp were markedly improved after using the whole line of products but my sister still had to use cortizone on him. She was disappointed that it didn't work better but it DID improve her son. I have also started to use this as my part time face wash. It is awesome in the winter months and makes my face feel clean without any hint of dryness. It has no smell. It does not sting when I use it on my own eyes. It lasts a long time, esp now that I am able to cut back to only using it on his head and face. I think the first bottle lasted us well over 6 months...closer to 9 months I would guess. The pump dispenser makes for less waste.

The cleanser was an additional product, along with the moistureizer, that was helpful in controlling my excema. I will continue to use both products.

This is the only product that does not irritate my baby's sensitive skin. It is fragrance free so it doesn't have the yummy fragrance of the other mustela products.

Stelatopia cream cleaner is gentle and does not dry out my newborns very sensitive eczema prone skin! Easy pump bottle design!

My son's have terrible eczema in the winter and this product, along with the lotion and bath oil have saved them, turning their alligator skin back into the baby soft skin I love.

I use the cream cleanser along with the milky bath oil. My baby's skin is smooth. I use 3 stelatopia products to fight his eczema: moisturizing cream, cream cleanser and bath oil. So far, I am satisfy with the results.

This product is amazing. I don't think I can try another soap on my baby's skin after I tried this one. My daughter has excema and this cleanser aliviate and sooth the skin right from the begining.

The whole Mustela Dermo-Pediatric line of products are phenomenal! My son's eczema came out between 4 & 5 months old. It was mild at first but within a few months grew into bright red, very hard, rough patches on his cheeks, temples, and behind his knees. The doctor of course prescribed a steroid cream which I was very hesitant about, but being desperate to clear up his skin, I used it and it worked. Within two to three days of stopping it though, his skin was back to looking awful again. We tried lathering him with Aquaphor (which was a complete mess because of how greasy it is), we tried another eczema cream, but to no avail - his skin was a mess. I came across the Mustela Dermo-Pediatric line by looking on-line regarding infant eczema and I am so thankful that I did. The Stelatopia cleanser, the Milky Bath Oil, Stelatopia Moisturizing Cream, and the Cleansing Water have made such an amazing difference in my son's skin. He still gets

"flare-ups", but even then, his skin does not look nearly as bad as it did before. We do have more of a problem keeping the area behind his knees clear even with the products but that's an area that gets sweaty often so is obviously going to be much harder to keep clear. I would recommend these products to anyone whose children have eczema prone skin as they have worked wonders on my son.....and they are free of parabens and derived from natural sources!
