1 out of 5 Spend a day just to apply by anonymous
I liked the idea of a powder sunscreen because I don't really like applying lotion. But this roller ball is inconsistent in its application, and you cannot spread it. So you have to basically paint yourself with the rollerball which takes forever. Not to mention you end up white as a ghost.

Comment from DermStore staff: Colorescience Rock and Roller Ball SPF 30
For optimal results with this product, ensure the skin is well moisturized. Follow by applying to an area and blending with hands as needed. This will help with spreadability as well as the white-cast appearance.

3 out of 5 Very Messy but the best for Oily skin by MV
This products covers more area than the brush in less time and you can actually see the powder to make sure you are putting enough on. I use it mostly on my face and neck and I suggest you do this BEFORE getting dressed in the morning or you will have white powder all over your clothes. It is still high spf in powder form so the only bad thing I can say is it is very messy. Otherwise it is to me the best sunscreen because it doesn't make me breakout as much as cream sunscreens and it has more natural ingredients. If you check the skin deep report on the site ewg you will see this sunscreen blocks most of the uv rays.

5 out of 5 Light weight, easy to apply sun protection by anonymous
This powder sun screen has a roller ball applicator. It is easy to apply and there is no waste. The texture is weightless - you don't even know you have it on! I am allergic to chemical sunscreens, so this product is a blessing. Lotion barrier sunscreens are very sticky. This product is not sticky.

5 out of 5 Easy to use on the go by anonymous
I bought this to use it on the golf course, to reapply on the go. It is very practical, not messy, unlike the regular suncream. Don't even have to take off my glove.

5 out of 5 A deoderant style sunblock by DL
This is sunblock in a powder form that comes in a roll on similar to underarm deoderant. This makes it very difficult to use on your face, so you'd need to get the brush or shaker applicators for that, but it is good for body use. This is the only sunblock that is good, imo, for people with acne/greasy skin issues made worse by traditional greasy sunblock, esp the kinds with titanium that give one a sheen.

5 out of 5 The easiest sunscreen to apply by anonymous
This is definitely my new favorite sunscreen. It feels fresh and dry and I don't feel like I need to wash it off when I'm done in the sun as I do with the lotion type sunscreens. I'm sold on this product!

5 out of 5 Stops the brown sun spots by BE
This really stays put. Holds the colorescience foundation all the better. Easy to apply to your "driver hands and neck" to stop sun discloration. This company can't be beat.

5 out of 5 Roller Ball Powdered Sunscreen by anonymous
I tried both the rollerball and the brush. The rollerball works very well for distributing the powder, then one must needs use a kabuki brush to blend. The rollerball's easy to use and the powerdered sunscreen works great.

4 out of 5 A lot of work for sunscreen by anonymous
This roll-on sunscreen is a nice alternative to all the lotions. Especially nice on the beach so you don't have sand sticking onto your skin. It takes a lot of time to roll it down, press it in, and distributing it evenly so you don't look white and powdery if you want to put it all over your body. Does take a leap of faith that a powder will protect over a lotion, but it does work. Takes trial and error to learn to use it correctly.

4 out of 5 Non-greasy sunblock for kids by anonymous
I like this rollerball sunscreen because it puts more product on than the brush. I use it on my 2-year old son's entire face and body everyday before preschool. He likes to roll it on himself and I rub it in. It is a lot neater than liquid sunscreens and it doesn't bother his eyes. It's a little messy if the powder gets on your clothes.
