The DHS TAR SHAMPOO does a fantastic job on psoriasis. This shampoo helps to relieve the itch of psoriasis and leaves your scalp feelling clean.

I like this shampoo. I am African American. I have put lots of chemicals in my hair over the years trying to maintain a relaxed and sleek look. I have really dry scalp only when I grow my hair out,which is slightly above my shoulders. I use to wear a pixie cut. The tar shampoo does have a strong scent,but does go away when followed by a nice smelling conditioner. It lathered better than I expected, did not tangle my hair(before conditioning)and did not make my relaxed hair turn coarse. My scalp is looking and feeling much better. I don't have clusters of dandruff anymore and it does itch less. However, I only wash my hair once a week as to not dry it out even more.African American hair requires moisture.So my scalp would be in much better state I'm sure if I washed it every other day. But I like it and will definetly stick with it. It has replaced my other expensive professional shampoos.

DHS fragrance free psoriasis shampoo...there isn't anything I didn't like about this product

My 11 year old son has Psoriasis and he gets plaques on his scalp. We tried harsh steriod creams and shampoos which didn't work, which were very expensive and which couldn't possibly be good for his little body. A friend of mine gave me some DHS Coal Tar shampoo to try and a week later the plaques were gone! It was amazing!

I purchased the DHS shampoo because I have a problem with dandruff and the DHS shampoo contains tar which I have found very helpful in the past. I do wish that the shampoo had a higher concentration of coal tar because a higher concentration means it will control the dandruff more effective.

This is the best coal tar based shampoo I have ever used. It is so gentle ( I have a very sensitive scalp) and is soothing and quickly eliminates scaling and flaking associated with my seborrheic dermatitis.

Other than the slight tar odor, I love the shampoo. My itch from the scalp psoriasis goes away, my hair feels clean, and I feel better.
