Tarsum Shampoo/gel - dangerous from GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL Verified Purchaser Oh yes, I remember Tarsum Shampoo/gel - I threw this product away as soon as I read the label on the back that said that this product could cause Cancer.
I can't imagine why the DermStore would sell something like this or not specially warn me before I bought this.

According to the National Psoriasis Foundation and the FDA, coal tar is a valuable, safe and inexpensive treatment option for millions of people with psoriasis and other scalp conditions. Coal tar concentrations between 0.5% and 5% are safe and effective for psoriasis and that no scientific evidence suggests that the coal tar in the concentrations seen in non-prescription treatments is carcinogenic.
