Smooth texture that applies and spreads evenly.

The texture is a thick paste that has to be diluted with water.

Creamy, but not oily.

The texture seemed like it would be too thick (I equated it to a greasy, heavy cold cream) but once I applied, it seemed to absorb instantly with no residue. Under makeup, I simply applied with damp fingertips, as suggested on the package, to thin it out slightly.

Delightful. It's sort of like Creme de Mer but without that awful petroleum viscosity. It's like a pudding-mousse that absorbs immediately without oiliness or sheen, just leaving a light matte texture that's how you WANT powder or concealer to look, but never does: just a nice whipped cream that makes everything lovely.

Smooth to slightly grainy--could be a little harsh if you have very sensitive skin
