Reviews of Avene TriXera Emollient Cream

This is a soft, creamy emollient cream. It has really made a difference in my dry skin. It also seems to have a healing quality.

I've tried the gamut of available moisturizing creams - from the over $200 widely reviewed in all of the major reputable magazines to the cheap under-reviewed stuff (such as Physicians' Formula and Neutrogena). By FAR, this cream is THEE best. I have extremely sensitive skin with patches of rosascea so it is one thing to use any of the myriad of products that market themselves as gentle or even hypo-allergenic but this stuff really does the job and is the real thing.

I purchased this product at the suggestion of my daughter's dermatologist to alleviate her eczema. Trixera really helped reduce the number of dry patches on my 2-year old's arms and legs. Unlike steroid creams, Trixera did not irritate my daughter's skin.

I like everything about it in fact the last time I ordered 3 one for me and one for each of my two close friends so they could try it. I complained about my dry skin to a friend of mine who is a registered nurse and she told me about it and I'm hooked.

The Avene TriXera is simply the very best cream for my toddler daughter that has Eczema. I can tell the different on her skin from the moment I put it on her. Her skin changes completely for the better !!!!

Around the year 2000, I suddenly started getting EXTREME bouts of eczema on my hands. My dermatologist says that I have one of the most severe cases she has ever seen- every joint on my hands is dry, itchy, cracked and bleed alot. I have tried numerous lotions and antibiotics, and while they may clear it up for a week or two, it always comes back. Recently, after a visit with a new dermatologist, I recieved a shot of cortizone, and she promised me if I follow up with Avene TriXera Emolloent Cream, it would keep my hands cleared up. Of course, I have been let down by other lotions before.... I am VERY pleased to say that I have been eczema free for 6 months now! THIS CREAM IS A GODSEND!!!

This product was rx to my daughter for her ecxema and I bought it at first for double the price at the dermatologist office. It is great to have access to it and to get a better deal. It works great on the skin!! Reduces itching, redness, dryness...I've tried about everything and this lotion DOES work.
