5 out of 5best sunblock so far AP from santa clara, CA Verified Purchaser
I really like this product, now I am using my 4th bottle and that means a lot! It is not greasy, does not clog my pores (it is really an issue with other products) and protects my skin very well.

5 out of 5Great sunscreen from Sonoma, CA Verified Purchaser
I have used this product for over a year. Since I use sunscreen everyday, I like how the Elta MD lotion moisturizes and protects, but the feel is very light on the skin. My husband also uses it religiously on his face and bald head!

5 out of 5High EWG Rating, NO WHITE RESIDUE!!!! from Euless, TX Verified Purchaser
I started using this product about a year ago. I am fair-skinned and a few people close to me have been diagnosed with skin cancer. Also, I'm kinda scared of getting old and wrinkled. I decided I wanted to start using a sunscreen on a daily basis. After doing some research, I learned that most sunscreens that you can buy at drugstores and grocery stores, while great for preventing sunburns, are frighteningly ineffective against the rays that cause skin cancer and wrinkles. So, I started sampling products that received solid ratings from the Environmental Working Group ("EWG"), a non-profit, consumer watchdog agency that investigates consumer products like this. My problem was that most sunscreens that were safe, effective and stable contain ingredients that cause a white, pasty, chalky residue. I've tried lots of stuff too. Badger, Aubrey Organics, Coppertone Pure and Simple, Johnson & Johnson--just about every product with a 1 or 2 EWG rating that wasn't crazy-expensive. All of them left that residue. I just put up with it for a while, thinking it was worth it for what I was doing for my skin. I applied sunscreen daily to my whole upper body, to ensure that my arms, my shoulders, neck and chest are all treated since parts of them are sometimes exposed (short sleeves, tank tops, v- and scoop neck blouses, etc). Anyway, my bras and clothes started getting a buildup of that stuff that wouldn't wash out, and, since it takes SO LONG to rub that stuff in, I found myself increasingly skipping that part of my beauty routine. I started trying products with a 3 EWG rating (since I wasn't wearing my chalky 1s and 2s and 3 is better than nothing). That's when I stumbled onto Elta MD. This stuff leaves NO white residue and glides on great. It works great, too. I used it on vacation to Disneyland and my super-fair skin never burned. Plus, it's light and it absorbs well, and it doesn't smell like sunscreen. (With all the white chalky stuff, people always asked me why I smelled like sunscreen). It really doesn't have much a scent which is nice, so it won't interfere with your favorite purfume. It does not clog my pores. I use it on my upper body and use EltaMD's UV Daily Sheer Moisturizing Facial Sunscreen, on my face and neck. I use both every day and I am equally happy with each product. Because of the cost, I still keep around some of the cheaper, 1 and 2-rated chalky stuff for pool/beach days, outdoor concerts, or other times when I don't care so much about what I look like or need to apply it multiple times. But for daily use, Elta MD is the way to go. Normally I wouldn't spend this much money on a product, but this one place I don't feel the need to cut corners.

5 out of 5Great sunscreen moisturizer for the whole family! by Tina from LA QUINTA, CA Verified Purchaser
I purchased this based on the recomendation of my derm. I use this lotion as a daily moisturizer/sunscreen for face and body. I have normal to slightly dry skin and this lotion is perfect, absorbs quickly, does not leave my face shiny or white. I use it alone or sometimes I use it under Colorscience mineral foundation spf 20 brush. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the product as well as value! I also use it on my children's face and body as a daily sunscreen. My husband uses it too.

5 out of 5Very pleased from Washington, DC Verified Purchaser
I have a lot of requirements for a body lotion/sunscreen: I want something that's not too light but not too heavy, doesn't leave white marks on my clothing, uses zinc or titanium dioxide, gets a good rating from the Environmental Working Group and is not tested on animals. This Elta lotion fulfills all of them. My skin has gotten drier as I've gotten older so, as the label says, I need to apply it liberally, but I am very pleased with this product.

5 out of 5Worth every penny from Trabuco Canyon, CA Verified Purchaser
I ordered this product on the recommendation from my dermatologist. It has become my everyday lotion! It has a smooth texture and goes on light and creamy. Knowing I'm protected from the sun is a big relief and I would gladly order this again and again. Afterall, you only get one skin!

5 out of 5Great for Everyday Use! from Fresno, CA Verified Purchaser
I am very fair and need to wear sunscreen all of the time. Even during the winter months. It has been very hot here this summer and I can get burnt just driving to work. This product is lightweight, non-scented, and doesn't leave a residue or stain your clothes. This is my second bottle and I will continue to use it. The pump is very convenient and closes easily for travel. I highly recommend this product for anyone.

5 out of 5Good but gave me a rash OA from philadelphia, PA Verified Purchaser
I used the facial spf product which worked well for my skin. I was going on vacation and decided to use the body lotion. Well 2 days into my trip, I got a rash in the areas I applied the sunscreen too. Took me a while to figure it out. I stopped using it and just like that the rash went away. I never got the same reaction from the facial spf.
I know there is an active ingredient in most spf product that gives me a rash but I swore I read the ingredients of this product prior to buying it. Oh well. I'll give it to someone else because otherwise its a great lotion if your skin is not crazy like mine.

5 out of 5no greasy lotion VP from El Paso, TX Verified Purchaser
I love Elta products. It's non-greasy and you don't need to apply very much. This seems to be the only line that helps with breakouts. I use the facial cleanser, the face moisturizer and the body lotion. I highly recommend their products. The scent is soft and sells clean.

5 out of 5The best sunscreen for daily use. from Tucson, AZ Verified Purchaser
I first purchased Elta MD after my dermatologist recommended the sunscreen. I have been using their sunscreen and facial cleanser ever since. In fact, I have been so pleased with Elta MD that I sent it to my sister as a gift. She said, it is the only sunscreen she has found that doesn't irritate her skin.
