It's a little greasy and makes my face abit shinier, but i love that it doesn't give my face a white-cast. So many zinc oxide sunscreens make my light skin look even paler, but not this one! :)

Also, this sunscreen protects my skin well and I never burn when i wear it. :)

Using this brand as it was one of several on my dermatologist's recommended list, many of which I was thrilled to see that Dermstore carried. Titanium Dioxide & Zinc Oxide are the active sunblock ingredients. My dermatologist says these sunblocks are the only sure way to protect from solar radiation(UVA), which is a major cause of skin cancer, which unfortunately I have, luckily not melanoma. He said chemical sunscreens are not really effective, as they still allow absorption of solar radiation(UVA) and are really only effective on the burning rays(UVB). In other words, just cause you don't get a sunburn, does not mean you have not been adversely exposed to the more damaging UVA rays. As advertised, this brand is good for sensitive skin. I have had sensitivities to other brands. I have tried many other brands, Blue Lizard, Total Block, COTZ, Solabar and this is the one I prefer.

My dermatologist advised me to use Vanicream to block out the sun's damaging rays .This really is is the best sunscreen I have ever used on my face! I have yet to see any dark spots or redness appear after spending time in the sun. It rubs in completely. I usually put my makeup on over it. Fantastic!

Its a little heavy, but I don't get a reaction on my face when I use it. I use it as a moisterizer.

After having tried a couple other brands that either gave my toddler skin reaction (J&J, red bumps) or did not provide satisfactory sun protection (Neutrogena, skin would still become red despite proper application), I have finally found the perfect sunscreen for him! Not only does it provide good protection with no allergy, but it is also much easier to apply than other baby sunscreens I had tried in the past, the white paste spreads on the skin much much better than other mineral sunscreens, without giving my baby a "ghosty" appearance,and it does not leave too much of a greasy feeling. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to everybody!

This is a great sunscreen for both adults and children. It really lasts. It was still on when we came out of the water.

Hi, I have very sensitive skin. I am very fair, and I get pigmentation easily - even, it seems, if I'm in the shade. I decided to get this product because of the two main active ingredients which are the only thing which protect the skin from tanning and pigmentation. I liked the price too.

The product does go on thick, but I like this because it makes me feel more protected. It might not be the best for those people who wear tons of makeup, but I find it gives my skin a nice fresh glow actually. I highly recommend it for those ladies and men who don't want to tan at all and keep their skin youthful (i.e. not sun damaged).

It wasn't irritating, but it was so greasy and thick that it feels suffocating. It's definitely not for everyday wear, and it's a mess to try to apply make up over it. This would be good for children with very sensitive skin or for a day at the beach (though, it is not waterproof.)

This sun block has never caused my skin any irritation or break outs, and that makes it unique. When used properly, it's also the most effective sun block I've ever used. Normally, I apply once in the morning and I'm good for the day, but if I'm going to be outside a lot or if the UV rating is very high for the day, I'll reapply at least once.

The only downside to this product is that it isn't very cosmetically elegant. For the first 30 minutes it leaves a shiny, whitish cast on the skin. On low humidity days, this dissipates, but the shine can stick around when it gets humid (my skin is normally very dry, so be prepared if you're prone to a shine).

Overall, I like the product since it is effective as a sun block and it does not irritate my skin like most other sun blocks.

Side effects from medication have left me literally thin-skinned, so I burn in just a few minutes in the sun. This is the only sunscreen product that I have found that really does work and does not cause me to itch or break out or sweat off. It provides great coverage and for the first time in many years, I no longer suffer from a "red" face - this provides such complete (and comfortable) coverage that I highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin, particularly those that are worried about the effects of the sun on their skin.

This is an excellent product and especially for the price. I have very sensitive skin and this has worked well for me. It is somewhat thick for use on the face but I still use it on my face anyway and am pleased with the result. :)

Vanicream sunscreen is wonderful! it rubs in easily - but you can tell it coats the skin well.
