Reviews of gloMinerals gloProtective Oil Free Liquid Base - Beige (Matte)

I love this product because it glides on without a heavy or greasy feel. The color and lightness is great with good coverage. I am a flight attendant (dry air) live in Florida (moist air) and it fits the bill for me. I am also a former esthetician so I am picky about my products and prefer mineral makeup for optimum skin health. Washes off easily.

Does not stain towels or washcloths, washes out easily without the use of bleach. Simple soap and water.

I have been using the GloMinerals liquid base off and on for a few years now. I have always been satisfied with the "Satin" finish base. So, instead of sticking with what I liked, I decided to try the matte for a change for the spring and summer. The matte is not for me. The color is beautiful and it starts to go on nice (I use a sponge), but then, I'm not sure what happens, it streaks and looks like I have smeared mud on my face. It's the kind of look that you really can't fix no matter how hard you try to rub it in. I've had to remove all makeup twice and try again. I use SkinCueticals products beforehand, and use the Face Cream moisture, so I don't think it's dragging from lack of moisture. Frankly, I don't understand what the problem is, but I will stick to the Satin finish in the future.

I love the way gloProtective Oil free Liquid Base foundation works. I love the was it makes my skin feel, its so light yet still has great coverage! Its oil free and it actually improved my skin. Its my new favorite maekup!
