About:
I have returned back to school after a very long absence. I am attempting to own and operate a non profit. "Keeping Animals In Recovery" A not for profit helping people help themselves. The main objective is to help people get back on their feet after making some poor choices in life. But, my organization will be "Pet friendly." I started out wanting to help battered women, than I realized that if the pet is left behind, it becomes the focus of the batterer. My philosophy is that we domesticated animals, therefor we are responsible for their well being for their entire life. Not just until it isn't convenient any more or we decide the animal isn't cute or the vet bills are too much. I am in my fifth semester at MCTC for Community Development and plan on graduating in one more semester.
