This is one of my favorite hand creams! I usually get turned off by hand creams because of how it feels waxy but not moisturizing. Since this is a cold cream, it just makes my skin feel more plump. I'm also not always a fan of scented products, but I love the smell of this! I dole it out to my friends and they all love the feeling of it.

I've been doing some reading about cold creams and what they can do for problematic reactive skin. I was having dermatitis flare ups on my face and nothing seemed to be helping. They come and go so it's hard to attribute the flare ups to one particular product. After my regular regimen I started using this Avene cold cream as a spot treatment on the red scaly spots on my face. I noticed a difference after the first night and actually my face has cleared up and I haven't needed to use it since. I will definitely keep this on hand for the next time my skin happens to react to something.

I've only been using this for a week, but really enjoy it for nighttime use. It is nourishing- doesn't sit on top of your skin, and also doesn't cause excess oil buildup or sheen. I could use it during the day, but I use another product. I have not had any breakouts.

I had some contact dermatitis on my cheeks and above the sides of my lip that I was experiencing from a makeup product. Anything I put on my skin to try to calm it, would make it more irritated, cracked, red, and itchy. I was concerned because this product has fragrance, so I thought I might react strangely, but this product actually added the needed moisture that I was looking for and did not irritate my skin. I consider it a staple in my regimen now! Highly recommend this.

The texture of this product is very greasy, and it has a lot of mineral oil. However, this is one of the best soothing products for me when I have skin problems. It moisturizes and protects my skin. Will always keep a tube of this in my drawer.
