Perfect gel cleanser

5I prefer foamy gel cleansers, but have sensitive skin, and Avene delivers with this one. No fragrance, it still takes off all my makeup, and the packaging is really clever. I also like Obagi, but will probably continue purchasing the Avene because it’s a little more affordable.

5If you're looking for a cleanser that is gentle, easy-going, and leaves your skin feeling perfectly fresh, this is it. I incorporate this product into my skincare routine throughout the week when I'm not focusing on other problem area specific cleansers. Great for my combo-acne prone skin.

5This is one of those great products when you just want gentle skincare. I don't have many others to compare it to but it is very gentle but cleanses well and is extremely soft and slippery without being too thick!

4For me, this is a bit more drying than I expected. I have combo skin with a VERY oily t-zone. I use this cleanser in the evenings as the second part of a two-step cleanse. It seems to do a great job of getting off all the makeup and gunk. But for me, it's a little more drying than I expected or wanted; it gives me that stripped-clean feeling. It has a very slight lather. I love the packaging-it looks pretty, and the cap has a cunning little dispenser that doesn't clog and makes it easy to get a small amount. Which is all you need with this stuff! I love Avene in general, and I'm thinking this may work better for me in the summertime.

4I have hypersensitive / reactive combo leaning dry skin. Most gel cleansers dry out and irritate my skin...this does not! Dr. Dray recommended this as an option for all skin types including dry (which normally work better with cream cleansers in my experience). I don't really like spending $$$ on cleansers but finding one that works has been difficult so I plan to continue repurchasing this! Love that it's a fragrance AND oil free option from Avene. Packing is ok too (just wish you got more for the price). Plus...I think the style of the bottle is cute on my vanity!

5I've heard so many amazing things about Avené and I didn't know where to start! Since I'm using an acne treatment, my face has become really sensitive and often times red. My face went from oily to dry. I wanted a cleanser that wouldn't strip my skin too much and also soothe my skin.So far, my skin has been looking less red and irritated. The smell caught me off guard a little but I will get used to it. I definitely need to try other products from the brand!

5This is very gentle on my sensitive, oily skin. I use it daily in the morning. I don't think it's too drying/stripping. Definitely worth trying if you have sensitive skin.
