I have a small brown spot that appeared on my palm of my hand about 2 or 3 months ago. It looks like a freckle. I have heard that you are not suppose to get those on your palms ot soles of your feet. Is this true? Should I be concerned?

<p>I've seen people with freckles on their palms before, it's more rare because this area of the body generally sees less sun so I don't think you have anything to be concerned about. However do the ABCD check list which is asymmetry, border, color and diameter. If there are any changes to any of these things then you should have it looked at. In addition if you do make a visit to a physician for any other reason have them check it out, generally they can tell from just a glance whether it is something to be concerned with.
