Makeup & Mingling: Step Up Teens Close Out Summer at the Dermstore Spa

BY Joann Row · September 8, 2017

With summer vacation coming to sunset for most high schoolers, Dermstore hoped to provide a truly luxurious finale for Step Up teens.

The Dermstore Spa welcomed Step Up mentors and mentees to mix, mingle and relax. While gaining insight from professionals on potential careers and passion projects, the Step Up teens were pampered with makeovers from jane iredale and beautifying facials by Guinot.

As a sponsor of Step Up, a nonprofit organization that inspires and empowers girls from under-resourced communities, Dermstore strives to build a strong network of resilient young women through career-focused programs and mentorship.

“At Step Up, we foster relationships with these young girls in continuing their journey as young women and adults,” says Dermstore President Cathy Beaupain. “Our relationship with Step Up is truly organic and natural. My goal is for us to continue developing and fostering these relationships so that it inspires us in the work that we do.”

The spa event celebrated women empowerment and supported our long-time partnership with Step Up. While attendees enjoyed a guilt-free shopping experience, a portion of the proceeds went to benefit Step Up programs.
