Great mild lotion. Works well for sensitive skin and does not leave any sticky residue. I have been using this for the last 6 months.

I tried a few other toning liquid out there, but realized none has made me more pleased than DHC Urumai Lotion, so it didn't take me long to switch back to this. I know now this will be a staple.

This lotion is a must have in my skincare routine. I was looking for a less expensive alternative and was blown away when I tried this one! It's amazing!! It hydrates so nicely right after cleansing .It's a perfect step immediately following cleansing but before applying serums, as it prepares the skin so nicely. It has definitely helped in remedying my dehydrated skin (which is not easy, my skin is stubborn!). It's perfect if you have dry skin and want to try one of the skincare methods which involve layering toner several times (like the Korean 7-skin method). It's not viscous or thick, it's waterweight but for me it hydrates better than all of the thicker toners or "lotions" I have tried. Truly a hidden gem!

This product is very nice and decently priced. It's easily absorbed into the skin and the ingredients are wonderful for nourishing the skin. It's a great extra step to add after washing your face and before any moisturizers. Especially if you have dry skin, try a product like this for an extra layer of hydration instead of just buying a thicker moisturizer. It's great for irritated skin or sensitive skin, it is extremely gentle and nourishing. The light enzymatic exfoliant action does make your skin brighter and gives it a healthy glow. To make the product last longer, just pour a little directly onto your hands and then pat into the skin. If you use a cotton pad, I would imagine you'd go through this very quickly and waste a lot of product along the way. This is definitely a toner I will come back to and purchase again.

I have very sensitive skin and it's even more reactive with my use of Rx tretinoin. I am very ingredient-conscious and this lotion/toner would be absolutely perfect except that it contains rose water pretty high up in the ingredients list. It definitely has a scent; the scent is quite lovely, for sure, but I don't want ANY scent/fragrance/essential oils in my skincare. I believe this lotion does have a hydrating effect that is more substantial than a mist/spray product like Clinique's Moisture Surge Spray Mist, and I do like how my skin feels right after using it. I am not sure though, if I find I have a breakout 12 hours later, whether it was caused by the rose water as an irritant. If this didn't have the fragrant rose water, I would never even try to attribute any skin problems to this toner. My acne is now very well controlled by the tretinoin, so if I ever break out, it is usually my skin's reaction to irritation/inflammation.

I purchased this after using a sample that came in a previous purchase. I loved it! It is very lightweight yet extremely soothing on my combination and sensitive skin. In the morning after use my skin looks firmer, pores smaller, and overall more hydrated. Price point was perfect and the quality was better than a lot of other essences or lotions I have tried that are more expensive. I will definitely be purchasing this again.
