Good mask
4I received this as a deluxe sample- I don't agree about the other reviews on smell. It doesn't smell very strong. It makes my hair shiny and smooth after the shower. It doesn't have a very thick softening consistency like other hair masks.

2I used this product twice and gave it to a friend. The first time I followed instructions and used after cleaning my hair. The fragrance was so strong that it kind of wafted around me and even transferred to my pillowcase. I thought I would try again and just shampoo/condition after the mask. It is still so strong. It has a very masculine men's cologne scent that is too strong for me. I'm just going to stick to the ACV rinse because it achieved the same result as the mask.

5Received a sample and I love it! I have short, thin hair and most hair masks just make my hair greasy. I honestly love everything in the ACV line, the smell does not bother me. I also find that this soothes my scalp.

5I am a huge dpHUE fan, and this product is my holy grail. It keeps my hair so soft, and I love the smell. It is advertised as unisex, and I really think that is the case. I love that the smell lingers rather than disappearing when you rinse. My selfcare Sunday routine is not complete until I use this hair-softening product.

1I received a deluxe side packet of this mask as a GWP from Dermstore. I was really looking forward to it performing some magic to pandemic era locks, but no luck. This mask is heavily scented- like men's cologne. And it ended up drying out my hair instead of hydrating it. Will not be purchasing the full-size.

4This is one of the first masques I have tried that actually seems to condition beyond what a typical conditioner product could produce. My hair loves this masque, even though no other apple cider vinegar products work well for me. The only issue is the smell. I actually like the smell (it is a rich cologne type smell), the problem is it is so strong! Even if you like the scent, it gets old smelling it constantly. I don't bother to wear perfume on days I use this, because it would be overwhelmed by the masque. But it works so well, I will continue using it at least once a week and deal with the strong scent.

5I used the mask today for the first time and I loved it. The mask is white and thick and looked like toothpaste. It was creamy and spread so nicely in my hair. I was happy with how easy it adhered to my hair because I did not lose any in the tub. Immediately after applying, I was able to get a comb through my knotty hair. Like right away! I am emphasizing this awesome detangling ability because it is so hard to get a comb through my hair. After I detangled, I put a little more mask in. I waited until I got out of the shower to rinse my hair in the sink. That was probably a mistake on my part because this mask was tough to rinse out I probably put too much mask in and did not need so much, or I should have just rinsed it off in the shower. Oh well. My hair is super-soft now and smells like apple pie. Yummy!

3I thought this masque worked fine, my hair felt conditioned and soft, but I really felt the dpHUE leave in hair therapy worked better for my hair. This had a nice creamy consistency and did not leave my hair feeling greasy, but I did not notice a huge difference.
