Love this mask!
5I love this mask! It is a HOT mask and you can definitely feel it, but it does not hurt. It will leave you red for a bit after using it. I use it at night, so it isn't an issue for me. I notice my skin feels tighter, and it has helped tighten my pores. The crushed almonds exfoliate. I use it weekly and highly recommend it.

1I did not like this mask at all. I really love this line and this has been the only product in the line that I did not react well to. I tried it several times. Every time, my skin was immediately super hot and red for hours, very irritated and I had small white breakouts all over the bottom half of my face from it. I tried to give it a chance again a month later and same reaction. (I contacted Dermstore for a refund or return however unfortunately I held onto it for too long. Their customer service is usually good so if you try and don't like, be sure to return it right away and don't make the same mistake I did waiting to try it again later on thinking it wasn't the mask - It's the mask!) The product does smell very nice. It is very gritty also and just wasn't for me.

5This mask is very good at refreshing the face. It's a hot mask, so it leaves your face literally HOT and red, but it brings circulation to the surface to rejuvenate the skin. It's amazing. Big fan.

5I've tried a number of Eminence masks, including Herbal Mud, Raspberry Pore Refining, Lime Stimulating, Yam and Pumpkin and a couple others. And that's just the Eminence masks! As a serious skincare enthusiast I've tried close to four dozen different face masks. This mask is the best of them all by a country mile. My 41 year old combo skin requires daily exfoliation. Sometimes physical dermabrasion, sometimes a peel. The Almond and Mineral Treatment always turns my face bright red as it heats up, but there's no burning or stinging. This doesn't bother me a bit because I know exactly what's happening. Blood is rushing to the surface to stimulate cell turnover and growth, which means my serum and oil will absorb beautifully. Dead skin is washed off with ease. My pores shrink to nearly invisible, my cheeks are brightened and glowing. The next morning my light makeup applies more smoothly. This is the only mask I've ordered three times, and I use it every three days. My skin isn't sensitive, so there's zero irritation. Its light scent is lovely and unobtrusive. It lasts a long time. Skincare product reviews are tough because different formulations work for different types of skin on people living very different lives. Emotional state, environment, diet and all sorts of variables factor into your skin's health. So, I don't know if this would be a winner for everyone, but it's the most consistently effective mask I've found yet. It fulfills its promises one hundred percent of the time. My one complaint is the kind of low rent packaging, but with results like these...who cares?

5Initially I was given a sample of this mask to try by an Eminence spa. My skin did have a warming and red tone reaction after leaving it on for 5-10 minutes and lasted for approximately 20 min after removal. But the mask indicated that this is a normal reaction. My skin felt so soft and wonderful that I immediately ordered my own supply. I like to do this mask 1-2 times a week.

5This is my new fav skin care treatment. Not only is it a scrub with crushed almonds, but it also contains salicylic acid, thus is a peel. But be forewarned that this masque heats up! I had it applied, and was amazed at how hot it became. It was so hot on my skin that my skin was red for a solid 30 minutes after. (I'm surprised that the product description doesn't mention this!) For context, I have combination skin, do not use a retinol, and am 45. I didn't mind the heat, as it was explained the additional benefit of a heat masque is that it brings the blood to the top of the skin, so that the next product you apply (ideally a serum) is more effective. I'm not sure if that's true, but it seems so because I've used this masque 4 times now since my spa visit, and am always mindful of applying a complimenting serum after. I have seen solid results. I'm giving it 4/5 stars for texture because I wish it was less liquidy, and more thick. It has a nice scent, but it's not fragrant. I highly recommend this masque, but with the forewarning of how hot it gets.

5I loooooove this treatment. I used this before my wedding and it really helped to smooth my skin and get rid of any stubborn blemishes. I know the description doesn't specifically say it helps with acne, but it really helped with mine. Don't be worried if your skin looks like a blotchy mess for about 20 minutes afterward! Just let it work it's magic. I also found that it helped my skin to re-balance. I would definitely buy this again! I just wish it was a little cheaper. :)
