So luxurious

5

Absolutely love! I keep this stocked so I never run out. Not sure if you can describe a creme as pillowy soft but if you could this would be it! It doesn't burn my eyes like some other spf's do. I really enjoy putting on this spf. It's not a chore; it's something I actually look forward to in the morning.

Moisturizing and Non-Irritating

4

I've just passed my two weeks with this sunscreen, so I think I can share my thoughts. I have deeply sensitive skin with rosacea and contact dermatitis, and have found sunscreens to be a bit difficult with my limitations. I was using one of the Elta MD tinted mineral sunscreens--which I love--but the tint was too dark for my skin. This sunscreen has little to no cast on my fair skin, and it feels beautifully moisturizing! Some don't like the silicony feeling that gets left on the skin, but it doesn't bother me. It is true that you have to give it some time to dry because it feels like it's an easier thing to rub off accidentally. And I can notice some of crevices (like in the hollow next to either side of my nose) are more likely to collect the sunscreen and show some of the white cast. But it's a small price to pay, and I don't think anyone else notices. I like the feel. I like applying it, and I like how it looks. Will keep using, for sure!

Silicone Sunscreen

2

I was not expecting the texture and finish of this sunscreen. It feels exactly like a makeup primer. If you already wear both sunscreen and primer, then this is a great product for you. If you don’t like the silicone feel of a primer, you probably won’t like this sunscreen. I appreciate the velvet skin look but I just can’t stand the way it feels on my skin. I was shocked (but glad) that it didn’t make me breakout. I really wanted to love this but I will not be purchasing it again.

Did not like

2

I've been looking around for a new sunscreen and decided to try to popular mineral sunscreen that has been recommended from many sites and people. This sunscreen left an oily residue on my face that lasted all day. It does not sink in. I don't agree with the description of this product at all of being "barely-there" and "lightweight". It also made my face SO dry. My face felt super dry and made my dry spots worse. I thought maybe I applied it wrong but I research how to apply and tried it over a week and still same result.

My new favorite Sunscreen

5

Daily sunscreen is very essential for me. I was using Elta MD sheer sunscreen but I learned it had Octinoxate as an ingredient, so I searched for a substitute. MD Solar Sciences is the winner! It goes on smoothly, leaves no white cast on my tan skin, feels light, no tacky smell, plus no harmful ingredients. It also doesn't cause me to break out or get shiny. Absolutely love this!

Thick, rich sunscreen

4

I really enjoy this sunscreen. It has a very rich texture, so better for drier skin, but feels very nice on the skin. No irritation.

good sunscreen

this is a great sunscreen but thick so better for winter months when you need the extra moisture.

Physical sunscreen with no niacinamide

5

This a very good physical sunscreen and it has no niacinamide, which is something I wanted. This sunscreen is especially good for warmer months because it dries matte. It also has a lot of silicone so that helps control the oil production. I have light/medium skin tone and there is a little cast from the zinc.

Nice sunscreen

5

I wouldn't say this is my favorite sunscreen but its definitely the one I reach for occasions where a spf50 is needed. It goes on your skin smoothly and comfortably. It has a slight light neutral hue to it making it very suitable for my light Asian skin tone. My face can only tolerate mineral sunscreen so I really appreciate how a high spf and non-greasy mineral sunscreen like this one exist. I don't really like the packaging though.
