Just a bit shiny
I love this sunscreen. It is lightweight, it blends perfectly with a little effort, doesn't leave a white cast, and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or cause blemishes. However, I think it can be a bit shiny and it leaves my skin looking slightly greasy for a while. This is not a problem if you plan on wearing make-up over it or apply a mattifying powder, but on its own I find this product to just be a bit greasy. That being said it is still one of my favorite mineral sunscreens and I use it every day.

Not a huge fan of the white cast. This aside, the product applies smooth and evenly and doesn't clog pores. Would purchase again, but am still looking for my ideal everyday product.

SPF Must have!
I am always telling people how important it is to include SPF in your daily routine and this is by far my favorite go to product. I had tried lots of other SPF products in the past but hated the greasy feeling most left and some even caused breakouts. This one leaves my skin feeling nourished, protected and doesn't clog my pores. I love it so much that it's the only skincare product I have a subscription for. I love this product.

This sunscreen is exactly as expected - light, hydrating, no offensive scent. I have been looking for a broad spectrum SPF to fight the sun for daily use as a 30-something in LA, and this one came highly recommended. Tough to be obsessed with a sunscreen but I will definitely repurchase!

Caused a Rash
This was the first sunscreen I had tried that felt and went on like a dream: lightweight, silky and promises not to break out my sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it caused a rash over 3 -4 days on my forehead where I never break out. I couldn't believe it was the problem, but it was the only new product on my skin, so I stopped using it for a week until my skin had completely healed and gone back to normal. Then I tried it again, and this time the rash appeared almost immediately on my forehead, so I knew this was the culprit. Since this is probably an individualized reaction, I'm going to try to be fair and give a 3-star rating. I'm sure there are lots of people who love this sunscreen. I do think that Elta MD should not market it as a physical, gentle sunscreen since it does contain a chemical filter. I also want to point out that this is no longer the only nice sunscreen available. I know for a long time 95% of sunscreens were disgusting acne-triggers, but that is not the case anymore, and people can find other sunscreens that are as elegant as this one that might cost less and have more mineral/physical filters. I do prefer the UV Pure and the UV Elements over this one, if choosing one by Elta MD.

Great comfortable sunscreen
This formulation feels wonderful to put on the face. It doesn't burn the eyes, so you can put it around your eyes for protections. It has a bit of a white cast, but makes your skin look youthful and shiny; yet it does not have a greasy feel. This is the BEST sunscreen I have ever used. I ordered two more bottles and plan on trying the tinted one next.
