As a skincare junkie I've always heard about the marvels of the SKII Facial Treatment Essence. I treated myself to this kit last year for my birthday only to be underwhelmed. I used the clear lotion with no visible improvement to my skin and then moved on to the essence. Again, nothing earth shattering. The only way you'll know if it works for you is to try it yourself. I'm still happy I tried it but now know that the product is not for me.

SK-II is ideal for oily or combination skin. I used this set for a week, my skin looks much brighter and smoother.

Ugh sadly the essence is amazing. Too bad the price is not, but I will keep purchasing because it is just that good. I wish dermstore sold the clear lotion because thanks to this set I live that now too.

I wish there was a smaller kit I could try. This was the best deal at the time. I just put the liquid in the palm of my hands and pat it onto my face so I don't waste product. Soaking it onto a cotton pad ends up wasting a lot. I honestly didn't notice a difference when I used it, but when I stopped using it, my skin felt duller.

Took me a while to finally pull the trigger on SK-II Essence and this kit was a great way to test it. The essence lasted a long time since I only used a few drops in the Mornings; great way to prep the skin for other products with more active ingredients. Gave my skin a nice glow! The biggest turn off is the fermented scent, but it goes away after a while.

I love the essence, which retails for $99, but for $11 more you get the lotion and the power cream!
